I found this to be really interesting read. I was really invested in all the characters and felt like the book was well paced. I loved the look into Latina culture and I really loved the characters relationship to their culture. I also really liked how the friendship dynamics were not dramatically effected by romance. I loved the book being set over a year and loved seeing these characters grown and change. I hope to read more by this author in the future.
Jackaby: Spolier review I really liked this book as well. This book was a very strong for me. I loved both the lead characters of abby and jackaby. I liked how their relationships were developed throughout this novel. and also how side characters were also introduced and also how the mystery was developed. I did not see the mystery coming and that is sometimes hard to do for me.
I really liked how the world was developed but as always with world that are fantasy i always want more and that means I am excited to read more in this series.
I thought that this book is able to really become it own thing and not relay on anything but it def inspired by sherlock and dr. who but this story to me is both unique and different even though it losing combination of two popular ideas.
I liked how abby really feel into this world unexpectedly but she was able to fit and find a home with these characters. I liked how complex the mystery was and also all the loose ends that we were left with. The book has hard and complex as it was was still very funny and that is something that both sherlock and dr. who do for me.
I really loved how one chapter was removed and i can't get what could have been in that chapter out of my mind and also how the end abby started writing down case flies like watsen would have done!Very good book with strong world building!

Throne of Glass I really enjoyed this book. My reason for the four stars was at points the book did drag. It only dragged sometimes but most times i was very captured in the world.
I liked how the world was represented to the audience. I like the mix of magic and the battle and how both elements effected each other. I also liked the triangle maybe square that is developing in the book and hope to see more of it in future books.
I love Celaena and her take charge personality but i do like how she is not all tough. I really did like her relationship with the princess and how tried how she might she could not be an island with these people and develop no relationships. I like how how both physically and mentally you saw such a change in this character. In most books and series they tend to focus on the mental changes but here the physical changes were also on display. I really enjoyed that a lot in this book.
i like the lack of past we were given and I also wonder how much magic will become present in future book and how that will effect everything. I also am curious to see how her new role will affect all her relationships. I think the next book will be even better and hope to get to read it now.
I really do like both men in this book but I am growing to love the prince more and more but Chaol is strong as well!

*I got this book for review and gave it 4.5 stars*
I really enjoyed this fantasy novel alot. I thought it was the prefect mix between the selection series, ash princes and such a rich world like soundless. I really enjoyed the lead characters througout this novel and like the lead in ash princess and she was such a different type of hero. I thought the world building that was inspired by Malaysia soctiey was the highlight of this novel. I wish the ending was a tad more fleshed out and that i felt immediately connected to the characters but I really loved the feelings of hope and inspiration that was the foundation of this novel. I will def be checking out book 2 when it comes out this year!

* I got this book for review from the publisher*
This book was a super fast pace read. I thought it was a rather fun cont. book that had the prefect balance between fun elements like romance and friendship dynamics. I also like how the girl code rules started each chapters as a fun way to structure the novel. I thought the POV could have been a bit stronger and a bit easier to tell them apart. The book was predictable at moments but I really did enjoy it and read it in a full day. I hope to read more by this author in the future.

*I gave this book 4.5 stars for review*
Overall I really enjoyed this book. I really loved the world building and also the fast pace adventure story off the novel. I loved how the book kept "finding" new characters for this adventure. I thought the myth and lore was such well crafted and I was super invested in this characters. This book was super easy to see in my mind and I had a hard time putting this novel down. I felt the ending was a tad rushed and wish she would have fleshed out the ending a bit more. Also some times through out the novel i was confused about who's POV we were in and wish that was structure was made clearer. but i am really excited for book 2! This was a really engaging read!

I actually really liked this novel by kasie west and might me my second favorite of her novels to date. I thought the set of this novel was well crafted and it was just a story that I had a hard time putting down. I was invested in both the romance of the characters and also both the boy and girls various storylines. I also liked the focus on friendship and self discovery in this novel and also the challenging family dynamics we saw that we don't always address in YA novels. I really enjoyed the lead boy in this book and may have found a new book boyfriend. I hope to read more by this author in the future.
*I got this book from the publisher for my honest thoughts*
I really found this book to a prefect read. I really was loved Owen and Noah is a lead characters. It is rather rare to have YA novel focused only on the male POV. I also really enjoyed the duel time line part of the story and found both storylines to be super compelling. I also really liked the balance that Elston created in the various genres between contempoary and thriller. I really found this book to be super compelling. I also thought this book tackled family issues super well. I think the own character really was so well done I would say this book is more of a contemporary novel with hints of mystery but the ending of this book was super shocking and i would def re-read this book in the future.

this book was such a prefect read. I really loved all the lessons this author shared and how this book really was able to show people how to live a creative life but not in a preachy way. I really liked how this book was structured and also how it really was connected to my life work. I would def re-read this book again and see how my thoughts have changed. This book def. inspired me to read more books like this in the future.

I was impressed by this novel. I went into this book curious by the topic but overall this book was such a fast pace/engaging read. I really loved how this book was structured both with the duel characters and the duel timelines. I really found the "fantasy" world to be a world that even I wanted to attend and really liked the the POV of both girls. I was a bit more invested in Phillipa storyline. I really also enjoyed the elements of poetry and how that was structured in to the novel. I also liked the historical fiction novel and how relastic these characters storylines was. I also like both girls love intreats and really enjoyed this read. I thought it was sold standalone as well and hope to read more book by this author in the future.
