I picked up this audiobook on a whim and I loved it! I flew though this book in like three days and I really loved this version of Bruce. Even though this story was a super short I thought it was so well done. I really loved the "trio" of characters and and also the case the bruce had to solve. I love how he we got nods to real "batman" history and loved all the unexpected twists and turns and it had me so engaged. I loved this listening experience so much and would love to see a follow up book to this. This was my first superhero read and I will def be reading more.

*I got this book for review and I would give it 3.5 stars*

I was super impressed by the world that Hocking cont. to expand in this series. I loved the various myths we were introduced to. I loved how we experiences both the "normal" world and also the supernatural world in this book. It was a super fast pace read. I was never super invested in the main romance but I really love Ash IN general. I also loved the supporting characters and their expanded role in book two. I would highly rec. reading these two books back to back because book 1 and book 2 are two parts of the same story. I grew to enjoy the lead throughout this series and she reminds me alot of faith from buffy and her morality choices. I would def read more by this author in the future. The highlights of this book is the world building and the supporting characters and the fast pace adventure. The parts I struggled with at points was the romance but I still really enjoyed this read.

I loved listening to this audio book so much! I think it was because Chrissy Metz read me this book and I thought nobody else could read me her story. I loved how it played with balance between small pieces of advice but also her life story. I learned so much about her and took so many small life lessons from this book. I just did not want to stop listening to it. She is such a charming narrator and I really loved her story so much! If you are a fan of this is us you really need to pick up this book!

This was a beyond good book. It is 4.5 stars for me. I really loved the world and the the characters were so engaging and such a fast pace read. I loved the twist on neveland and it was so cool. I really enjoyed the duel POV we got and was invested in both sides of the story. I just loved how twisted this story became and all the tieback and connections to the orginal story. I loved the cast of characters and also how the book still addressed historical issues but also brought urban fantasy elements as well. I think the setting of this book was so strong and so well crafted as well. I really loved this story and can't wait for the sequel.

I really liked thing book. It was a the prefect summer read. I really enjoyed the lead character and also the plot of this story. It was very cute but also addressed more difficult issues like money issues and it was just a fun read. I felt like I really became invested in the two leads but just did not feel that connected the the other characters. I always a sucker for "save the...." by the end of the summer and this book made me smile. I would def. read more by this author in the future as well!

I really enjoyed this book a lot. I think that is the prefect type of bridge series between middle grade and YA. I enjoyed getting into different characters heads because the POV characters we got in this novel. I loved the world building so much and how she crafted the world building of wonderland. I really enjoyed this book. I found it to be such a fun fast pace adventure. It was also a super fast read and I am really excited to read the final book in this series soon.

I thought this was super fun read. I really enjoyed both POV characters and it was fun story. I think I was more invested in the male side of the story. I also thought this story touched on my many common issues in teens life like school, family and romance. I thought the rest of the characters could have been developed a tad more but it was fun read and def a great read for the end of the school year. I would def be interested in reading more by this author in this seems and to go back and read the other three books in this series.
