This book blew me away. I adore stories about strangers meeting and and a story based around that. I thought this book not only had a cool concept but also such a cool narrative and way of telling the story. I loved how past and present was used to to tell these five characters stories. I was equally invested in all the various POV and raced through it. It was a more emotional read and def tugged on my heart strings. I really enjoyed it and would rec. you get this book when it comes out in Feb. It was the prefect book to end 2017 with.
* I got this book from the publisher and gave it 4.5 stars*
I really enjoyed this book a lot. I thought the plot was mostly very fast pace and engaging. I thought the end of the book had some slow parts but I still really enjoyed it. I thought the character and the world building was the highlights of the books. I really loved the duel POV that was got in the story and loved the morally gray characters that we met. I really loved the siren mythology that we were exposed too. I would def read more by this author in the future. It is the first mermaid/ siren book I read with a strong focus and it made me exited to read more!

I thought this was solid follow up to book one. I still really liked the wide cast of characters we have met. I would love eventually to get chapters from their point of view. I loved how complex the mystery has became and how the tension in this story has became some intense. I also really loved the various setting we were exposed to and all the various exotic locals we go to. I think the mystery is so well crafted and I will def be checking out the last book in this series!
These books are fun and fast read but they don't wow me. The mystery was not a strong as past ones but I did like the case overall. I struggled with hannah in this book but i did like her and how she solved the case. I def like the whole ross mystery and just the fun charm of these novels. It was fun read but i did not adore it.
This book I really did enjoy the world. I loved all the various magic workers but both the pacing and the characters I struggled with. I had such a hard time becoming emotionally invested in the characters. I wanted to love them but i struggled to feel connected to them. The pacing of the book even thought it had elements of murder mystery the pacing felt off. I liked the illustrations but wanted more elements of that tied into the novel. Overall, i loved the world building but did not feel as connected to the characters as i wanted to be.

I really loved this book so much. I thought this def. a emotionally compelling novel. I really loved how this book tackled grief in various forms from various characters. I loved both POV so much. I loved the cast of characters that we met. I really enjoyed the use of letters as a element to start each chapter. I really was invested in both sides of this story both jules and declan. I loved the family dynamics for both lead characters. I really liked the slow burn romance as well that developed. I could have done without one plot point because i thought it was a tad predicable but i was really impressed with it. I really can't wait to read rev story next!

I thought this was such a fun read. I really loved the main character. I thought she was so off beat and fun to read about. I thought the focus on her weight was such a fun take. I really liked how the she structured her novel with the various quotes to start each chapter. I loved the self discovery focus of this novel. The romance elements just made me smile but was not the focus. I loved how the "culture" of beatuy was explored and it was a quick read. I really enjoyed it a lot and hope to read more by this author in the future.

I really loved this book so much. I loved both Rev and emma stories so much. I also really enjoyed the tiebacks to letters of the lost. This book was such a fast pace read and I was emotionally invested in the story. I really loved both characters POV and how we dealt with both the gaming industry and also rev abusive past. I have such a soft spot for rev and loved how adoption and fostering was such a strong part of this novel. This book is def. a tear jerker with so many unexpected twists and turns. I really hope we get Matt, book eventually!

I did not love this book but I had a hard time putting it down. I really enjoyed some parts of this book but was not engaged in the whole thing. I loved the twisty/ dark setting of the various fairytales we learned about. I think I might like this book better on re-read because I think I may be less lost. I will be curious to see if we get more books. I loved the start and the end of this story the most. The middle part dragged a tad. I thought the main character was hard to connect with by I loved Finch alot! I am curious to see what happens next in this series!

I thought this was such a fun science fiction adventure. I really enjoyed the duel pOV for this story and also the complex world building. I thought the crew of this novel was a true highlight. I was equally invested in both POV characters. I really loved how complex this story was but also how easy it was to follow this story. It was such a fun adventure. I really loved also how the aspect of morally gray actions occurred. I really am so excited for book 2. It was a fast pace read and it i really loved all the characters. I just wanted a moments for the world building to be a tad clearer but I am hoping this occurs more in book 2!
