I could not get into this to save my life.

I hated everyone in this book, and was bored to tears.  The writing fell really flat for me

Something about the writing style is just NOT clicking for me 

The perspective of Bella, the puppy, while adorable, really did not work for me.  I was looking for a little more complexity than the childish perspective of a puppy.
