I wanted to like this. People who’s opinion I trust liked this. But I hated Amb and Sully, there was no real motivation for their bad behavior, and Amb didn’t improve with age. I just couldn’t keep reading it.

DNF - The writing style was so clunky and slow, I couldn’t get into this, and I couldn’t deal with allllll the red flags being ignored every second. This one wasn’t for me.

I honestly went from about 37% to the last three chapters to find out how it ended. I’m only actually rating it bc I did care enough to want to know the ending, but can’t say that it was really worth it for me. I’m glad I didn’t spend the time reading the middle.

DNF 15% - not for me, can't put my finger on why

This just didn’t work for me at all. I hated Hannah, and nothing interesting happened quickly enough to pull me in to overlook her being so annoying.

This book was not the one for me. I put it down at about 40% because it was just so ridiculous, and I literally hated every single character. The way the men in this book treat the women is just.... I'm surprised it was written by a woman honestly.
