It took quite long to get to the main plot. I did like all the riddles and plottwists though. This book was set up really well.
Kinda disappointing: there were less dragons than in the first book ☹️

Ahh, the last book in the series.
Again, I liked how everytime Emily Rodda makes us discover pieces of the puzzle that were actually already there since the first book. I also liked how much the dragons appeared in this book!
Ofcourse, the ending is a bit much over the top happy, but as it is a book meant for children (11-13y), I can forgive it.

I really liked the subplot in this book! It contained lots of puzzles and riddles, but it also wove the past and present together perfectly.
And that ending
And that ending
I FINISHED IT
After 7 months, I finally finished it.
I read all the heroes seperately, but for some reason I couldn’t get myself to read Oidipous and Theseus.
But I’m very happy I finished it.
I liked it very much and I also learned a bunch new things. But this was a MUCH harder read than Mythos. All those names. The Ancient Greek were very good in re-using older names, but it makes it quite hard to keep up

I don’t really know what I think of it....
I liked how it adressed some really important and relevant topics.
But I didn’t really like the story. They were always running away. Some of the things were really not relevant for the story. And I hated Jasimir for most of the book. Also, I was VERY disoriented the whole time. I definitely missed a map. And it took me way to much time to figure out what a leuga is.
And then the translation......... I noticed way too many mistakes.
I did like the romance though. And Fie is kind of a badass, but Draga was my favourite. Pity she wasn’t in the story for very long.

This book was very good! It reads fluent and the soundtrack was also a nice extra.
Sydney and Ridge are the most wholesome and pure people ever.
