This book was indeed a bit “extra”, although it solved a few questions from the previous books.
The humour in this book was really on point. Nastasya was on fire with her sarcastic comments.
The storyline was okay. There was a loooong build-up and the climax was short, but I didn’t really mind. It reads so fluently!!
The ending was a bit too much for me. I’m happy it all worked out, but suddenly they were a bit too happy.

I love this book so much. It’s the second time I read it and I love it just as much as the first time.
The writer constructs our world in the form of scents and it’s so different and refreshing.
The story of Grenouille is so inhuman and absurd and I love it from the moment he was born to the moment he died.

I liked this book a lot!
I watched the movie before I read the book (I know, shame on me) and expected a similar story.
It was indeed a similar story. But the book, like all books turned into movies, has quite a lot of aspects and little details that are not in the movie. Book-Peter is so much cuter than movie-Peter. Book-Lara Jean is so much more flawed. And I love that. And I love their (fake) relationship. Peter is truly good for Lara Jean. He says what he thinks and points Lara Jean on her flaws and the other way around. They know what they can expect from each other. They are really cute.
I also liked the book-ending a lot more than the movie-ending.
I’m looking forward to the next book!

I’m a bit disappointed by the story. I mean, I knew John Ambrose McClaren would show up. But a second(!) love triangle?? The one in the first book was more than enough.
But the ending was good. I’m glad Lara Jean got to her senses and realises she made mistakes as well.

I loved this book so much!!
Lara Jean is torn between University, her family, Peter and Peter’s family. She has to take all those things into account and it’s difficult. I love how she makes mistakes and bad choices and I love how she tries to make up for them. I love how the characters aren’t perfect and I love how perfectly Lara Jean and Peter fit together. They are so f*ing cute, but not in a cliché kind of way. Jenny Han shows how a relationship is and how a relationship can be: it has its ups and his downs, one time you fit perfectly together and the other day you don’t speak to each other. But they always make up and show how much they love each other.
It’s the perfect ending to the series and yet a part of me wants to know the future. What has life planned for Peter and Lara Jean? What happens when they are at Uni?
But it’s also quite nice you can imagine how it all goes.
These books are so well written. I read them in one sitting and although it’s perfect as it is, I wish there was more.

Although the concept is quite weird (I mean keeping the skins of your dead ancestors in your home???), it’s also fascinating. Your tattoos tell your life story and when you’re dead your skin is being kept to remember and honour you.
The story was sometimes quite predictable. I saw a lot of the “plottwists” coming.
Also Leora is such a stupid naive girl.... I didn’t really like her very much.
But the ending was really nice. I liked it very much.
I’m definitely going to read the next ones!

I liked the story of this book even better than the first one!
It was exciting, there was always something happening and the story went a lot “faster” than in the first one.
I’m looking forward to the next book.
(Prediction for the next book: I think that Seigetsu-guy is going to turn out as the super-villain or something)

I saw the movie, so I knew the story and how it was going to end. But God, this was written beautifully and I cried as much in the end as I did when I watched the movie.
I liked it better than the first one. It was more exciting and thrilling, there was always something happening.
I also liked the POV of Dante, Garret and Riley. It was refreshing to read in someone else’s perspective.
The only negative thing is that stupid love triangle. Why is there always a love triangle????
