Enjoyable. I don't usually go for novellas as I find the plots can be rushed. But this wasn't the case for Code Of Silence. I think Shantel Tessier may just be my favourite author. Along with her other books, it was a page turner and the way it came to a climax at the end.
I love that it is standalone but connected to the Dark Kingdom series. I feel it provides a good introduction to the Kings, despite having its own separate storyline.

It was OK. I didn't find it particularly exciting and felt like it it could have been shorter without affecting the plot. Part of me wanted to DNF but persevered as the series is meant to get better.
