Ethic 3 felt more like a ‘fill-in-the-blank’ book. This installment primarily focused on character development and not the chaos that we have known this series to be. This just made me feel like 4-6 are going to be epic especially considering Ethic 4 was the original last book in the Ethic series. I did enjoy having more of Bella and Easy in this book. Morgan is still reminding us of how naive we really are at the age of 18. And Ethic and Alani are still getting on our nerves lol

I recently started reading the Ethic series and I wanted to see how him and YaYa were connected so I came back and started from the beginning. I read this book back in high school and I truly forgot how chaotic this storyline was. I can’t say it’s my favorite but I also can’t say I’m not moving on to the next part of the series bc who doesn’t enjoy a little chaos, right?

We’ve made it this far and I’m trying to figure out why I’m still holding on

Tiffany Jackson.. always giving us something to think about when it comes to the racial biases of our country. This retelling of Stephen King's Carrie was perfection and did everything to honor the story but also gave us some new including an ending that you would not likely expect.

I found that the bullying in this book made me a little irate so if you are easily triggered.. I would read the trigger warnings.

If you can get your hands on the secret epilogue, I highly recommend it. It's like the cherry and sprinkles on top.

Why did this book make me cry so much?! WHEW! This was definitely the most emotional part of Ethic's story (IMO). So much growth occurred. So much love. A great way to 'end' Ethic.

Also.. if my man doesn't propose in a bookstore.. I'ma be mad as hell LOL
