How to describe this book? It’s about a bank robbery that turns into a hostage situation. It’s about idiots. It’s about a bridge, where one person jumped and another person didn’t. It’s about how our actions effect people in ways we could never predict. It’s lighthearted while also being deeply meaningful. In conclusion: it’s just really, really good.

This is a short novella set between A Court of Wings and Ruin and the book that’s coming out next month (A Court of Silver Flames). Nothing much happens, but I love the fluff and seeing the characters celebrate their version of Christmas. It was cute and precious and I’m here for it. Now, I’m all caught up on the series and ready to read the next book come February.

This was such a polarizing book for me. There were things I absolutely loved and things that were very not great. And I understand what happened, but I’m not sure what the meaning behind everything was? Super weird. I dunno about this one.

I’ve decided not to rate my nonfiction reads, but this book was so good. Funny, thought-provoking, infuriating, relatable, informative. I could literally go on and on.

Maggie Stiefvater is my favorite author, even though I don’t always love her books. Her authorial tone is so unique and I just really jive with it. I think there was a lot of set up in this book, so I’m hoping the payoff will be worth it in the next two. We shall see.

I don’t know why I keep reading books by this author, because I haven’t really enjoyed a single one. But this was the worst, I think.

I love this series so much. This was my favorite out of the three that have been released. A new one comes out next month and I’m so freaking excited! This one was a chunky boi, at 705 pages. I was at 50% last night and just spent the past six hours binging the audiobook on 2x speed.
