If you have any plans to read the books in the Brayshaw series, do it first. I really don’t understand why this would be considered a stand-alone. With that being said, this was my least favorite, not that I didn’t enjoy reading it. I LOVE Royce and Brielle, but there was not enough plot here and the ending/epilogue everything was so predictable and rushed.
