Reread 2/8/24: I read this book 3 years ago when I first got back into reading and let me just say my tastes must have evolved because I ate this book up this time.

I really didn’t know what to expect from this book, but I really enjoyed reading it. I will say this book is not for everyone, there are definitely some triggers to make yourself aware of before reading (I.e - necrophilia, sa, forced body militarization and others). I am a huge fan of Nightmare Before Christmas and I really liked all references/similarities to the movie.
This is book was highly recommended in my book group. And turned out to be one hyped book that I feel actually lived up to the hype for once. It’s definitely different, but in a good way.
