This is the second book in the Movie Magic series, but can be read as a standalone. I had not read the first book prior to this one.

Savory & Supernatural is a short and sweet novella that follows Amalia, a witch who is working in a food truck on a film set and Kingston, a quirky, but haunted actor.
I would recommend this one to anyone looking for a spooky, lighthearted romcom.

Thank you to Netgalley and and 8th Note Press for the eARC.

I finished this book last night and honestly my stomach is still in knots. This was my first read by this author and wow. As someone who went to school for Social Work and currently works with the vulnerable population, this book was such a tough and heavy read for me. I can’t necessarily say I “enjoyed it” as that just feels weird, but I do think it was a good read that will definitely stick with me.

This is the third book in the Bexley U series, but can be read as a complete standalone.

OKAY FORD COLLINS, I see you. In my opinion this is by far the HOTTEST book out of the series, not necessarily because of the spicy scenes, but the sexual tension is off the charts. I loved everything about this, the forbidden aspect, the secret pining, the jealousy, the chemistry…its all just so good.

I feel it is important to mention {(as this was something I had issues with in previous books in the series) that there is mentions of hooking up/kissing other men and other women. But a big part of the book is Ford attempting to layoff Taytum and allow her ore freedom for one night stands and possibly dating. So it wasn’t done distastefully by any means.
