dark fast-paced

I absolutely loved books one and two of this series so I was super excited to get an eARC of Ma Petite Mort. But honestly I might have set my own expectations a bit too high because of how much I enjoyed the other books. MPM felt very repetitive and just didn’t capture my attention the way I thought it would. I did enjoy the ending with everyone coming together and the little teaser or what may be coming in the future.

This is the fourth and final book in the Goode Brothers Series. Each book is about a different brother, but there is specific plot points that arch across each book, so I personally recommend reading into order for the full story, but you could read as standalone if you wanted.

I had been anticipating Issac’s book since I finished book one, The Anti-Hero, and it was everything I hoped it would be and so much more. I absolutely loved Jensen and Issac together. This book hit me so hard emotionally. From the recounts of their pasts to just the heartfelt connections and conversations between all of the characters. I don’t want to give any spoilers, so I will just say this was such a truly beautiful ending to the series.
