This was fun to read! Made me even more excited to continue the Last Hours. You get to know the characters even better.

While I did not enjoy this as much as The Sea of Monsters and The Titan's Curse, it was still an interesting read, and I can't wait to continue.

To be honest Annabeth annoyed me a little sometimes. And I really liked Rachel, hopefully we'll see more of her. I also liked the other characters (except, of course, the bad guys).

Idk about others, but I really like it when Percy interacts with his dad, hopefully that happen again in the fifth book. Honestly, I like the interactions with the gods in general!

I kinda expected the Hunt to come to the battle (though only after finishing the book I realized this).

3.5 stars

It was fun to read, but if I'm honest I never really cared about Jace and Clary - I don't mind them together, but I wouldn't say I ship them together.

Because of that, this didn't really interest me as much. I also think that now that I read all the other series in the Shadowhunters Chronicles, I find TMI a little less interesting? I don't know, but I always enjoy reading about The Infernal Devices and The Dark Artifices more.

Anyways, this was still fun to read, definitely worth giving a chance.

Ok, wow! This was amazing! While I did not entirely love the first book, I couldn't put this sequel down. I was immediately interested in the story about Grey, and I loved every page!

While at first I was sad that Harper and Rhen no longer were the main characters, I started to like Lia Mara too, even though I didn't at first. Although I wished we could've read about Harper or Rhen's reaction to everything that happened to Grey, them hearing about him being found and the people of Emberfall fighting by his side.

I can't wait for the third book! I can't wait until I can read more abour Grey and Lia Mara. And I'm excited to read about what is happening to Rhen, although I no longer like him.

February 13, 2021: and once again Goodreads deleted another one of my ratings, thankfully not the review this time.

January 5, 2020:
WOW! What an emotional rollercoaster! I have wanted to read this book ever since it was released, and now I finally have.

It wasn't as I expected. When I read the summary, I expected a cute story about two guys falling on love. It turnes out to be a little more complicated than that, with emotional scenes, a lot of political stuff (Which I didn't really all fully understand because I don't live in America) and some detailed sex scenes. I'm never a big fan of sex scenes in books, but thats just me.

Besides that, this book was amazing to read. It was hilarious and cute and sad heartbreaking. Even though I expected something different, I still loved it.

3.5

I was sooo excited for this book, but my expectations were too high. I simply didn't care for the chapters about Rhen and Harper, or their characters in general. I sighed with disappointment every time I came to a new chapter with their point of view, and many times I caught myself counting the pages until there was a chapter about Lia Mara or Grey.

Also, the ending? This doesn't feel like the final book of a trilogy. Storylines that don't feel like they're finished, and others that felt like they were finished too soon. There are still things where I'm confused about, about what will happen next. It really doesn't feel like an ending.

Like, what will happen to Lia Mara and Grey's child? How will they be raised, since their parents are both leaders of different countries? How will they be together while leading different countries? What happend in the attacks at the castle in Syhl Shallow? How will they fix these factions against magic? The factions against magic was a pretty important part of this book, yet this storyline doesn't get an ending? Will these people get caught? How will they react to the child? How will the child be protected?

I'm really disappointed. This book was my most anticipated release of 2021. I absolutely loves A Heart So Fierce And Broken, and ever since I finished it I couldn't wait until this book was released.
