Really enjoyed this! Listened to this on audible and it was great that they had the podcast chapters sound like a podcast! Made it super easy to stay interested it! Had some slow parts, but it did pick up. Really liked the FMC she was snarky, sarcastic, and totally herself!

I wanted to like this and I went into fully expecting too. While I know this is a YA novel I just didn’t really feel connected to any of the characters, didn’t feel any of the chemistry even though it was supposed to be a love triangle, and was super confused most of the time. Felt like there were a lot of plot holes. Don’t think I’ll be continuing on.

This was so much fun! A cute little story about a 14 year old non magical girl who ends up getting to go to a girls magical school! Nice palate cleanser in between all the high fantasy books I’m reading,

I am still processing this. I have so many questions and no answers and have to wait until sometime in 2025 to get them. Overall this was good. Dark, magical, and creepy. Romance and friendships. Do not feel like we found out too much about either of the main characters except the basics and it was a fairly long book so was hoping to see more of their powers/stories teased out. I’ll read the next book though.

This was excellent. Well rounded story. Had lots of tension and intrigue. Guessed some of the twists but was still enjoyable. Love the found family aspect and being able to survive in a world so dark with friendship and light. Cannot wait until the next book.

Wasn’t my favorite but overall was an interesting read. The first half dragged for me but the second half was faster paced. Had some twists which I guessed some but not all. One of the main characters really kind of bothered me, but it did tie into the story.

This was a slow read for me however it was beautifully done. I really enjoyed the past and present, the way the author intertwined both eras together. This made the character growth really powerful and real. The heightened fear was present throughout most of this book but in a romantic way. A book full of lust, longing, heartbreak, grief, and self awareness. Interesting concept and tied in so well together.

A woman’s struggle with herself, friendships, relationships and learning to trust again after a traumatic event which leads her full circle to those who betrayed her. Really enjoyed this.

Not the most well written book I’ve ever read but it was a fun retelling of a classic story. Definitely

I did enjoy this but it did seem awfully slow to me. It took me a bit to get through as it just didn’t hold my attention, I didn’t feel like I needed to read it. Overall the emphasis on survival, strength, and grief was powerful I think.
