3.5 actual, rounded up. This book was overall well paced and told a compelling romance that was hard to put down. I’m not normally a fan of second chance romances, but I’m glad that I gave this book a chance. I thought the story got a little repetitive toward the very end- you desperately just want the two characters to just sit down and talk honestly. Loved the descriptions of decadent & tasty food, Rosie’s restaurant made for an interesting B plot.

I did DNF Fix Her Up, but the character cameos made me think about potentially giving it a second chance.
