It was funny and had me laughing out loud at different parts!
Pride and Prejudice is one of my favorite books, so when I first heard about this book I knew that I wanted to read it, though it took me a while to do so. While I was reading it I was trying to figure out who each of the characters were in P&P. There was a moment toward the end that reminded me of The Lizzie Bennett Diaries on YouTube.
One thing that stood out to me was the reminder that family can be an intricate thing to work with. That secrets and misunderstandings can hurt us and those around us even if we are trying to keep those we love safe. The same can go with relationships and friends. Because secrets and lies can often make it hard to trust those around us. But at the end of the day we can still be happy.

It's not very often that I have some difficulty getting through a non-fiction book, but this was one of those books. I found the history of the CIA and the women who worked there to be rather fascinating and interesting. To me it felt a bit repetitive and boring to get through at some points.

Despite it's shortness, it was well written and very satisfying. Though part of me wanted there to be just a little bit more. There was a good flow that kept me interested and wanting to learn more about each of the characters. One part that I kind of wanted more of was the part about retrieving and storing the memories in the library and the process that the characters use to stay alive for long periods of time.

The ending took me by surprise. It was something that I really wasn't expecting to happen. There were parts throughout the book that felt a little slow moving and hard to follow because of the perspectives of the different characters.

I didn't want to put it down! It made me want to learn more about Scottish history and mythology. The relationship between Kate and Derek made it seem like they were siblings instead of friends and I loved it.

It was a satisfying conclusion to the trilogy. One thing that I noticed was that there were some similarities with a few things that are in the past or are on going. Especially the nod toward WWII and the Holocaust.

Meet-cute - Mildly Lovable - Annoying - Bad Communication Skills - Feminism?
^^^ That is what I was thinking while reading this book. While I enjoyed the banter between the different characters, I really wanted to slap all of the characters, especially Will, Martin and Allie upside the head with their bad communication. Especially when Allie is constantly being told by her friend Jess to talk to Will. By the end of the book, I was glad that they finally decided to talk about the lack of communication and secrets that were happening.
I don't know if it was supposed to be a surprise or not, but I thought it was kind of easy to figure out the relationship between Will and Martin rather early on. While it was kind of understandable why Will didn't want to say anything, everything about it rubbed me the wrong way.
When it came to the part where they were getting rid of Jack Matthews it felt anti-climactic and almost like it didn't really fit in that well with the rest of the story. Although I can understand wanting to get rid of terrible employees/employers, etc., it still felt kind of rushed and like it was added in as a way to show strong femininity when I feel like there are other ways to show that.

Reading this book felt almost like a warm, but familiar hug and I don't know why. But it was an enjoyable and fun read.

Although it was only a small part of the story, I appreciated the fact that infertility was a topic. Especially since I have family/friends who are struggling or have struggled with infertility. So it was nice to see it talked about. Outside of that, I enjoyed the banter and how grief from losing a loved one affects everyone differently.

Outside of adorable and lovable, I don't know if I have the words to describe how much I enjoyed reading this book. It is tied with "Part Of Your World" with being one of my favorite books. Reading it in three days might show how much I didn't want to put it down while reading.
