I really enjoyed this thriller! It was an interesting plot that had a good amount of twists and shocking revelations. I really enjoyed the father/daughter aspect. There were quite a few characters that felt unnecessary and almost took away from the story. I would have liked to have seen more of the main character's story beyond her writing this book, I think it would have helped build her character out more. Overall this was a good read and I'd recommend it!

I was surprised that I liked this book as much as I did! The characters were well written, even if they were super predictable. The plot was unique and had me engaged and curious throughout the whole book! This had elements of a thriller book with suspenseful moments, which I really liked!

There was a weird "twist" towards the end that felt super forced and didn't flow with the rest of the book at all. The spice was a bit much for me at times, but I'm glad it wasn't the sole focus!

I only read this for my book club!! I don't think this is a bad book, but I'm absolutely the wrong audience for this. I don't like kids and I really don't like books that focus on motherhood. Although the one thing I enjoyed is that the main character is pretty funny! Overall not a good match for me.

I can't do the stream of consciousness style writing, and the main character already seemed wildly annoying.

Overall a well written book with an incredible message. I loved the multiple perspectives and timelines, it was very clear whose story we were following and when. The book was a bit long and some characters seemed unnecessary, but the story being told was so powerful.

This was so well written!! It was immediately scary, which I love from horror books! I was really invested in the main character and couldn't put this book down! The creatures are described so well that it's easy to imagine (and get freaked out by) them! There was a bit of gore, but nothing unnecessary or over the top.

The characters are heartwarming, funny, and inspiring, but the plot was a little flat. It was a bit of an unnecessary sequel, but still a fun story!

There were so many characters (that are referred to by both name and year they came from) that it got super confusing trying to keep them straight. I didn't understand where the story was going and what the main plotline of the book was. It started off funny, but I just wasn't invested.

I really enjoyed this one! I absolutely didn't see the twists and surprises coming and was always curious what would happen next! The characters were well written and I liked hearing all their stories across different timelines.

The podcast parts honestly took away from this being a great book. They didn't add anything and just seemed to repeat information we already had for no clear purpose.

The narrators were fantastic in the audiobook!! They helped me keep the story and characters straight and made them feel real. Highly recommend the audio version if you pick this one up!

Absolutely nothing happens in this book. The characters are super boring, the plot is non-existent, the descriptions are way too long, honestly there wasn't a single part of this that I enjoyed. This book is about 350 pages too long, everything about the school was so unnecessary and didn't add to anything. Ugh I'm annoyed I read this
