A fantastic revenge thriller!! I really loved the dual perspectives and following along with the characters. The twists were incredible and so well done! I absolutely felt the frustration and despair of the main character and was cheering her on the whole way! I read this in one sitting because I was so invested!
If you enjoyed The Midnight Library or Mr. Penumbra's 24 Hour Bookstore, you'll LOVE this one! It's a bit of sci-fi, thriller, fantasy, and mystery that makes for a truly wonderful read. I didn't want to put it down and can't wait to get my hands on a physical copy! (And I will absolutely be testing its magical powers!!)
This was a super fun story about a woman, Cassie, who received a book from a recently deceased patron of the bookstore she works at, but when she goes home to show it off to her roommate, she inadvertently opens a door to another country! She travels to a few of her favorite places before realizing the book is incredibly dangerous. Cassie needs to make sure this book doesn't fall into the wrong hands, all while traveling through the world!

I was intrigued by this book since the author and I are complete opposites, and I was curious to read the viewpoints of someone from "the other side of the aisle". This was such a great book!
Nancy does a great job of explaining her political and religious views and how they changed over her life, depending on events that happened to her and in the world as a whole, especially when Trump was elected.
The chapter on the adoption of her daughter came off as a "white savior" moment, but I understand that's not what she intended.
In the chapter about Bristol Palin, I completely agreed with Nancy's sentiment that Democrats can't say "believe all women" about SA, but then only believe people with their same viewpoints. I was glad to read further on that she felt supported when she wrote an article about her own SA experiences and how it affected her political beliefs.
There were certainly moments that were hard to read and viewpoints that I didn't agree with, but overall it was really interesting to read her experiences and learn about her life.
I would absolutely recommend this book to people with all political and religious beliefs. One of the quotes I highlighted that I think does a great job summarizing the book is, "Though I fiercely wanted people to be one thing and not two for simplicity's sake, people- as Walt Whitman wrote- contain multitudes. Me included."

I audibly gasped while reading this book, which is the highest praise I can give a thriller!! I really loved the twists and turns and the characters were well written.
I wanted to love this book so much, but it was just "meh". The beginning, happy times went on for way too long and it got super repetitive. Then the situations that should have been real issues just seemed like throwaway scenes. This book felt super rushed, like the author is desperately trying to get another book out.
Another great thriller from Riley Sager!! This wasn't my favorite book of his, but was still full of twists and turns and shocking moments! The ending was a little flat for me and tried to cram too much into the last few moments. The characters are so well written and I enjoyed the connection between this tight knit group of people.
I skimmed the last few chapters because I just didn't care what happened. This book was hard to read, the dead sister theme felt like it was added just to give the main character a sob story, because otherwise she was flat and completely unrelatable. I strongly disliked the MMC as well, he added nothing to this story. Overall a really bad romance book.
Really interesting storyline that pulls you in from the beginning! This book is like an onion, every chapter reveals a different layer and part to the story, which made it a fun read! The characters were well written and easy to follow. The ending was a little too quick and felt like it was missing an element, but overall a good thriller!
This was such a fun book!! I listened to the audio and loved the narration by Elle Fanning! This was a clever plot for a book, and it was fun diving into the life of a creator on Only fans! The first and third person got a little confusing for me and I wonder if it would have been more clear in a physical book. Overall a really amusing and entertaining read!!
Such a great idea for a book and so well written!! I loved all the characters, there were a lot of them, but the author did a good job making it clear who they all were. I liked reading stories from different perspectives, especially when they were opposing viewpoints. This inspired me to go buy banned books for my own Little Free Library! I just wish it was this easy to change people's minds in real life!!
