This book had interesting points, but overall was just mediocre. I didn't learn anything from it and it didn't discuss anything that made me stop and think. I was hoping for so much more, but just didn't love this one!
I read this all in one night because I couldn't put it down!! I absolutely loved the main characters and the time travel made their story so cute!! I always love books about books!
I tried so many times to get into this book, but I just couldn't. There were so many characters that I couldn't keep track of them all, and that made the plot super confusing. The beginning is super slow and the timeline jumps around. DNF at 30%.
My least favorite TJR book so far. It has a fun plot and is cute, but definitely didn't hook me like her books normally do! An average romance read.
It took a long time for me to get into this one. It was pretty descriptive of gross aliments and ways to die, which I wasn't a huge fan of. It was easy to follow the plot and the characters were very easy to keep track of! This was pretty predictable too. All in all, the good and bad level each other out to make this just an average read.
3.5 rounded up. A mix of The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and The Only One Left! I liked the rich family drama, but it wasn't super exciting or shocking. It was really quick to read! There were multiple points where I had to go back and reread because plot points were confusing. Good, but nothing great.
It was very interesting to see how a religious man sees everything occurring in the world. I had to remind myself multiple times that this was fiction since the timeline of events was off what actually happened. Overall interesting, but nothing much of substance happens. I would have liked for this book to delve further into how religion plays a part (or doesn't!) in world events and how both affect the other.
4.5 rounded up. A fantastic thriller that kept me guessing and hooked!! Lucy Foley does a great job writing love-to-hate characters!! Everything Francesca did was so cringe and made me roll my eyes so many times. I was disappointed in the ending until I realized it wasn't the ending at all and kept going! So many surprise twists and turns, another hit from Lucy Foley!
