4.5 rounded up. A great thriller with tons of twists! I loved following along with the main character's identities and lives, it was fun to see her thought process!
Incredible!!! Finally, a fantasy read that doesn't have a million characters and is easy to follow!! I loved the letters between the characters and following along with their lives. The ending?!? So glad I have the second book already!!
A sequel that might be better than the original!?! I loved how fast paced this one was and how there was always something exciting happening! The ending was great since it wasn't a typical everything is perfect, happily ever after. I loved everything about this book, the characters, the storyline, the drama, the tension!!!
It took me a bit to get into this one, but the middle of it was really interesting and had me hooked! The last quarter of the book skips a ton of time very suddenly, and I was very thrown off. The abruptness of everything that happened at the end was jarring and really made me dislike the ending. There were a ton of characters that just disappeared with no explanation of what happened to them, and others that served no purpose but were mentioned repeatedly. This book was pretty confusing and meandering, so it wasn't one I enjoyed.
3.5 rounded up. This was a really interesting dystopian sci-fi book, but it felt like it was trying to take on too much. There were a few things that felt unfinished. I was definitely interested throughout and this was a very quick read!
Such a spooky and creepy horror book!! I typically don't like gore, and this has a lot of it, but surprisingly I was okay with it here! I really loved the characters and all the weird twists and turns. Just a wild book that I hope doesn't influence my dreams!
Such a great book!!! I love the podcast format, and I was so invested in the story. The characters were so well written and relatable. I loved this thriller!!
This was a hard one for me to get through. The plot was super confusing, the characters were unlikable, and the story dragged on and kept repeating.
This was a hard one for me to get through. The author tries to connect MLMs to white supremacy, but never fully explains her thoughts on the connection and it seems like an abrupt afterthought to prove she's speaking out against something. Everything in this book about MLMs has already been said. The author continually talks about how bad people in these companies are, but then tries to distance herself and say "but not me, I'm not as bad as the rest!!" Just an unnecessary book that was way too long.
A very bland book, but quick to read. Super predictable and nothing particularly engaging or thrilling about it. Just "meh".
