A typical romance read, with one small twist in the beginning. I personally disliked the focus on cheating throughout the book, I should have read the plot before picking this one up!
I wish I could rate this higher, I absolutely loved every single aspect of this book!! The characters were incredible and so well written, I fell in love with each of them! The story was captivating and the meaning behind it absolutely touched my heart. I'm adding this to my permanent collection and can't wait to read it again and again!!
This was a fun read, with an unexpected twist at the end! The characters got a bit hard to follow at the end, but otherwise I enjoyed this!
I enjoy Katherine Center's books because of her creative plots and likeable characters, and Hello Stranger was no different! In this, the main character has complications from brain surgery, and the side effects mean she can no longer see faces clearly. This book has all the necessary characters-the struggling main character, the solid best friend, the enemy and the movie star handsome love interest, without being cliche! I enjoyed reading this book and was hooked until the last page!
Super predictable plot and "twist" at the end. The characters didn't feel fully formed and having each section be one day long made it feel extremely disjointed.
A thriller filled with twists throughout the entire book! Although there are quite a few characters involved, it was easy to keep them separate with individual storylines. I love books that are told from different perspectives, and each chapter revealed a new part of the mystery! The references to rape and sexual assault make this not an easy read, and were a bit intense. Overall I enjoyed this thriller and thankfully wasn't predictable!
A very nice, even ending to Atlas and Lily's story. Nothing unexpected, nothing super sad, just everything wrapped up as it should be!
An excellent behind the scenes look at what it took to make Top Gear. As a fan of the show, it was so easy to imagine the hosts saying everything in their trademark voices. I loved reading this, and it made me love the show even more!
This life story of an addict's life is told in a very dramatized way, which almost makes it seem unbelievable. The story itself was incredible, and very easy to read. After reading I felt like it was almost too showy and surface level.
I understand why this is a must have on audiobook! Having Matthew narrate his story helps it come alive, and you get to really understand the meaning behind his words. It's always fun being able to get a peek into someone's life, and this was told in a fun way with bumper stickers and meaningful messages!
