A spooky collection of short tales that are easy to read! Some are better than others, but most of them are entertaining!

There were plenty of twists and turns throughout that kept me guessing and waiting to find out what would happen next! From the perspective of the "weird kids" in town and their experiences learning about their family secrets. I really loved this book and read it quickly because I couldn't put it down!

I absolutely LOVED this book!!! It was so incredible, I read the last 55% so quickly because I just couldn't put it down!! The twists and turns throughout were SO shocking and I audibly gasped at some of them! Not many thrillers make me cry, and this was one of them, the desperation from Eva to simply belong was so raw and honest and something we all feel at times. I LOVED the characters, they were so well written and it felt like I was reading the story of a friend. The ending?!? Wow. Incredible. 

Absolutely incredible audiobook!! The narrator did such a good job differentiating characters and moments in time. It was so wild to hear the murderer's point of view along with the opposing lawyers. I loved the twists and turns in this!! 

A fantastic book that's well written and so thought out, and a great audiobook! The narrators did a wonderful job bringing the characters to life and separating each part of the story and each character's journey. The plot is such a unique idea, and truly makes you think about life, love, and loss. I had all the emotions while reading this book, and it makes you want to go hug your loved ones!!

Such a great thriller that will keep you guessing and second guessing! It messes with your mind, and the twists keep you engaged throughout the book! The characters were so well written and it was so interesting to get each perspective, including that of a...bird?! The ending was so shocking and just the right amount of satisfying. 

An intense and freaky true crime story with some pretty detailed gore! I was definitely hooked throughout the book and was invested in each one of the surprise moments and twists! The ending felt a bit rushed and too "perfect" and the pacing felt a bit off at times. Overall I think this is a good option for thriller lovers who want to try out horror!

Another absolutely incredible book by Gareth Brown!! I was a bit nervous that this wouldn't live up to The Book of Doors, but it was just as fantastic!! I loved the characters and felt so connected to them right away and loved following along on their journey! The magical elements truly draw you in and give you a sense of wonder and awe. The ending is absolutely perfect, it was exactly what I was hoping for!! I absolutely loved this book and will recommend this one as much as The Book of Doors!!

A totally average book. There was no drama or realistic moments, the characters came off as too perfect and happily ever after just doesn't do it for me. 

A good thriller that hooks you and will keep you guessing! I loved the multiple perspectives and different settings. The twists were fun! I wanted a little bit more out of the characters and the action, at times it felt like weird pacing. Many of the characters didn't seem to have a purpose nor did they add anything to the story.
