I did not care for the storyline or characters 

A unique story with dark humor, witty commentary but I found it to be filled  with incomprehensible number of details per sentence, and anecdotes. I don't believe I would have gotten through as much as I did without the audio.

I was just bored reading this. Nothing was happening. I didn't feel any suspense or mystery going on.

I tried but dark romance is just not for me

The pacing of the story was really slow and I was bored through majority of the whole book. I also did not feel any sort of emotions towards the characters. With the storyline revolving around dementia that Bella's grandmother faced and then later on her boss, I never felt the emotional connection the author was trying to convey with the story. 

Told through past and present alternating timelines, it was hard to connect both aspects as soon as one thing happened not enoug  information was given to get fully immersed because a new chapter would start. It felt unfinished and disjointed. 

I can not continue on with a book that is romanticizing rape. Even with the trigger warnings from the author I was not expecting for the opening scenes to be a guy who forced himself on the FMC and threaten if she did not comply to his demands he would throw her off the cliff. Definitely not a book I want to continue to read.

Wasn't holding my interest 

Just not in the mood for it at this time. I may revisit it later.

Hard to follow and very confusing. 

I really tried pushing through with this book and even with listening to it on audio I was just so confused on what was actually going on. Maybe this just isn't the right author for me. There is just so much going on and new characters introduced like in every scene that it was just so hard keeping everything on track.
