Dark romance shouldn’t be a slow burn & this book is being advertised as a dark
Romance & I made it 25% through the book & nothing has popped off yet. There’s more mystery & questions then anything & not in a good way. I was in the mood for a true dark filthy romance & this let me down so bad. 

I honestly think I’m the problem but maybe not. The book kinda drags & then I been threw off since I made the connection of fifty shades series to Lawton & his relationship/history with Adele. 

I think the cultural differences is what’s stopping me from fully enjoying & continuing this book. I felt more confused than anything 

Too slow & not a lot of action. Everything dragged to me & I was around the 65% mark & for him to be a serial unaliver he sucked cause I think he only unalived 1-2 people the entire book. 

Normani I got on my nerves & turned me off real quick

The book started out good & angsty & kind of mysterious but between the lack of communication, wrong assumptions being made & then the turn of events with Grayson & his parentage it’s too much & annoying 🙄

This is an extremely slow burn so slow that it seems as though the story was getting away from what I thought the main plot was from book 1. It’s as though the suspense feel went away & it became more about if she was going to have s3x with the guys. & then she (the FMC) annoyed me in book 1 & disappointed me in this book because she talks about getting them back & all of this after finding out about the game but it all kinda falls flat for me. 

The gap was unnecessary to me. It would’ve been nice to see how the two main character’s relationship evolved instead it was like one drunken night after a party they hooked up (which was fade to black) then months later they all in love with each other. Like what happened?! & then the FMC brother was acting real feminine like & complaining waaaayyyy too much for my liking. 

DNF, but I MAY come back to it to try again. For some reason it’s not giving what I expected it to give.
