I'm so happy to be doing a re-read of this series in time for the new Threads of Power book. On a re-read I still love it, but the weakest in the series. I downgrade my rating to 4.5 stars, ALMOST perfect

I absolutely loved this!

It was such a fast paced read. Victoria's writing made me immersed in the world and traveling with Kell and Lilia. I was hooked from the very beginning and can't wait to see where the rest of the series goes. I love the idea of parallel London's and felt that each London while different had similarities and made the London's even more intriguing.

After making it to the 50% mark I’m still not enjoying it and found myself not wanting to pick it up after I put it down so I will be DNfing.

I have no idea what I just read but it intrigues me enough to pick up the whole first volume.
