Some stories I really enjoyed, some were just okay. Anthologies are always a hard thing for me to review.

I did enjoy reading from new to me authors. With the climate right now with Black Lives Matter I knew I had to pick this up and read it.

I'm very glad I did. All the stories had some form of commentary on racism, or being Black in America and is worth a read for everyone.

Wow. This book was not what I was expecting when I picked it up. It started out very cute and then had a plot twist I did not see coming that had all the feels. Go into reading this not knowing anything about it like I did and I think you will enjoy it more.

I gave this book three stars...

With the hype I was hoping to enjoy it more but had issues with the writing and the world building...
