I'm glad I finally picked this up. I've heard great things about the series, but had no idea what I was getting into. I had no idea how brutal this was going to be, but I loved every minute of it.

This graphic novel is an interesting horror/thriller novel that follows a group of teens who all share the same birthday and are hand picked to attend this special boarding school. They all have different reasons why they are attending, but you quickly learn weird things start happening and the school isn't what it seems.

There was just enough character development and plot to pull me in, but doesn't give too much away so you want to keep picking up the next volumes.

I immediately picked up the second volume after finishing the first one. The one was just as good as the last one.

This volume focuses on each teen, each chapter showing the back story of that character and why they are at the school. They all have some supernatural element to them. This volume is very character heavy, and doesn't focus so much on the plot and it was great to have such character development so early on.

Can't wait to pick up the next volume and read more about this weird boarding school and the supernatural teens that go there.

The Raven King is the 4th and final book in this amazingly weird fantasy series about a group of boys and our main character, Blue, on their quest for an old king in a town that has some supernatural elements.

This is my second favorite in the series. You know the big event that is going to happen, since its been talked about since book one, but it still hits hard when it does happen. I think the way she ends this book is the perfect end to the series.

This was a nice addition to the Raven Cycle series and takes place after The Raven King.

This wasn't as good as the series itself, but I did enjoy seeing from from Ronan and his relationship with Adam and Opal, the orphan girl that Ronan takes care of. Maggie's beautiful writing still exist in this short story and follows Opal's POV, which is a nice change as Opal who is so innocent and her POV is genuine and unique.

This is the first volume that switched authors/illustrators and the change in voice didn't hit as well with me. I still love the art style and the group of girls, but the writing wasn't as strong as past volumes and wasn't my favorite as far as plot.

I enjoyed volume 7 more than volume 6. Shannon's writing fit nicely with the plot and it felt like she found her footing with the series. I enjoyed the plot more in this volume as well and it felt stronger and well written. The series continues to portray diverse characters within the camp and have great messages about friendship and acceptance.

This is great addition to any Harry Potter fan's shelves and collections.

It has a great mix of real facts that inspired the series and new information about the series. It was cool to see original concept art and original written pages. Jim Kay's amazing illustrations have been included throughout as well.

This one is the condensed version of Harry Potter: A History of Magic and I am interested in how the two versions are different.

Another okay read for me.

I enjoyed the character portrayal of John Constantine, but the plot felt a little all over the place and didn't feel like it fit together. I felt it was a little too long for the first volume. There was too much dialogue and moved slowly through the story.

I do plan on continuing the series and see what's in store of John and hope the plot and writing picks up for the rest of the series.

Another okay read for me. This was my first Agatha Christie novel, and I would like to pick up some others.

I think for me the issue was I listened to this as an audio book and it was hard to keep the characters straight. I would find myself drifting off and loose focus. It wasn't as compelling as I thought it was going to be.

I understand and can see how this novel and Agatha Christie influenced modern "Who Dunnit" novels and movies, and I do enjoy that kind of story. This one just wasn't for me.
