I only found this okay... maybe it's because I haven't read the Grisha Trilogy so I felt disconnected from the world and characters.

For me, the first 100-150 pages moved very slowly. It wasn't till Part Three started where I became more invested in the characters and the plot and where the pace picks up.

I did enjoy all the characters and you see them grow and develop through the story. They are characters that you can find relatable traits with and can understand their motives.

I will pick up Crooked Kingdom eventually but I do not have the urge to pick up immediately after finishing Six of Crows.

They just keep getting better. That cliffhanger....

This first volume was cute. It has some great diversity, great potential, but it was missing something...

Willing to check out the next volume.
