I found a lot of the essays very relatable. A lot of these stories infuriated me because of how women are treated. These are stories about the female experience and because I've lived a lot of these situations I feel like it's not for me. It would be better aimed at people who did not grow up female to understand all the microaggressions that women and especially women of color go through. Overall I found these stories very well written and engaging.

I first read this as a teenager. It still holds up as a good book but not as good as I remember. I don't know if it was my digital copy I read or the author's writing style, But it did not seem to flow very well and there were numerous typos. Still I did enjoy it and I definitely want to read book two.
