You could say this is a book about nothing. Just a 30-year-old woman trying to find herself. No epic battles or great evil to overcome, just a lost woman. I really enjoyed this, it was really fast-paced read considering there's no battles and no action. This was a great pallet cleanser. A story about discovering who you really are and friendship.

Like a great story does I was left wanting more. Of course it's not going to be so easy to dismantle an entire system of oppression but the revolution has begun.

Still is good as when I first read it in the '90s. Now I know where my lifelong obsession for monsters has come from.😋 Especially people who become monsters or monsters that are good.
