I LOVE CLIO EVANS!!!!

I thought this book was so well done, the tension, the chemistry and everything was so perfect! 😍😍 I can't wait for more Barista-Verse books!!!!

I thought the plot was a great idea i. Theory but unfortunately this one just missed the mark.

I felt like these characters vacillated between middle school and high school behavior. I felt like Weston was so bland and he was like a giant baby they had to watch but since they were also babies it was just a Trainwreck.

I thought the fanfic idea was going to be fun but the execution was ABYSMAL.

I LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH!!!!

I loved the dark humor, the fantasy, and the entire plot. I usually shy away from books over 400 pages because they can't hold my attention, but WOW this book was paced perfectly. I loved every moment.

I thought Tristan/The Villain and Evie were the best at bantering and I was so excited to learn this is going to be a series!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UGH I LOVED THIS BOOK.

These two were so perfect for each other!!!! I loved how they supported and challenged each other and the way they grew throughout the book.

I loved the mental illness rep. I thought it was really well done. Jack's OCD and intrusive thoughts were unique to read about. How he navigated his mental illness was incredibly eye opening. I thought the accomodations his friends and family made to make his life easier was so sweet.

Raine's ADHD was also represented SO WELL. I thought she was perfectly charming and well rounded. I loved her good intentions, even when the follow through was too hard to complete.

Jack and Raine were so so so perfect together and I loved their love story!!!

I enjoyed the adventurous setting for this romcom! Their unique jobs and location made for a fun read, unlike any other romance I've read before.

I thought Corrie was almost too cool, too beautiful, too lucky and too smart. I thought Ford was so unprofessional and petty. I had a hard time getting swept away by their story.

Very petty and childish. Marking this as not right now instead of dnf.

UGH I LOVE YOU SAMANTHA IRBY

I almost wish I had read her books in order, because I will admit that this book did read a bit more immaturely than her later works. But that didn't make me enjoy it any less!!

I love her brutally honest and hilarious delivery for the funniest stories. Samantha Irby truly makes me laugh out loud and I think she would be such a good friend! The story about her mother/baby really helped me understand her better and where she is coming from. That was a surprisingly tender story to include and I am glad she did.

I have so much respect for Samantha Irby and I cannot wait to see what she does next!!

Very well researched.

While I don't necessarily condone highlighting criminals, I do think it's unfair that in the drug cartels, women are treated as object. I thought it was fascinating to read about the women who climbed the ranks within the cartels and became infamous within their communities. I learned a lot while reading this book and I am glad that I read it.

Thank you librofm for a complimentary ALC of this book.

A fast paced YA thriller that kept me guessing the whole time!

I really enjoyed both POVs even though I was slightly annoyed at first because they were SO different. I thought that Mary and Drew were both very interesting characters. I was fully invested in the story, and my brain was constantly trying to solve the puzzle.

While I did predict a FEW of the twists, I honestly didn't see the end coming and I was absolutely shocked. Before the book was even over, I was on storygraph, looking for more of this author's work...and I was shocked to find out this is a debut novel!!!

BRAVO!!

This book is so stressful. I just cannot take it, especially on audio. These two main characters are so chaotic and I just can't handle another moment of reading this book
