WOW SASHA!
I was fascinated by this story, I feel like I am going back and learning more about news and true crime cases that happened while I was living my life obliviously.
I thought Richard and Sasha had such a unique story and I loved learning more about each of their POVs. I found Sasha to be incredibly resilient and gracious, despite what happened to them.

WOW
Elizabeth has gone through so much and I really respect her honesty and resilience while enduring/sharing her story. I was shocked to hear what she had been through and I was baffled at the horrid practices of the woods and carlsbrook.
I am proud she made it through and survived.

Terrible composition, unlikable characters, weird timeline and unbelievable plot. Just not for me.
Over 20% in and nothing has happened yet. A lot of set up and I just don't have a connection to any of these characters so I don't care what happens next.
Plus I spoiled the series for myself by reading the summary of each book (my bad) but I kinda know what will happen so BYE

MID AT BEST.
I thought Sage was so poor at communicating. Her family and their relationships were all toxic and they all needed therapy. If this book didn't have the gift/magic component, it would have been a DNF. I didn't like the love interest or the plot of the story.
I didn't hate it but I didn't love it either. Not writing this author off completely, but I'd be hesitant to pick up another book by them.

SWOOOOOOOOOOOOON FOREVERRRRRRRRR
I think I loved Hazel even more than I loved Esther from book one! I loved that she was half nymph and had really cool healing abilities.
While I didn't mind the length of the book, I do wish the plot had been spread out a bit more throughout the story instead of action packed only at the end. I also wish her nymph abilities had been explored a bit earlier as well, because that was soooooo COOL.
I loved the dynamic between Hazel and each of her suitors. If I had to choose a fave, I'd obviously pick Ronan, because I am a sucker for a friends to lovers trope with a dash of protective fella in the mix. I really enjoyed reading the sections with him in it, because I could just tell how much he cared for Hazel the entire time.
Hunter was absolutely darling, and I loved his timid/shy behavior at first. I found that extremely endearing. Nireas was a little bit confusing to me, I didn't quite get the one kiss/8 years stuff at first. But I loved that he had 6 arms!!! The piano act was so COOL. Constantine was harder for me to enjoy because I didn't trust him at first but he grew on me. He had SUCH cool abilities and I really felt that Hazel did enjoy him. AND THEN SWEET PRECIOUS ADORABLE JUDE. UGH. I loved him so much and I thought he was so perfect for Hazel. Plus the fact that he gets with Ronan was a delicious bonus.
When Esther shows up with her men in tow at the end I was ecstatic to read about them again. It was like checking in with old friends.
Loved it all and I cannot wait for book THREEEEEEEEEEEEEE
