I'm so sorry I just don't care.....
It's almost not fair how well Jillian Meadows writes romance. It makes me resent my own life just a little bit.
I knew going into the book that it would be 5 stars. I just knew it. And booooooooy I was NOT disappointed. This book is so goddamn sweet and romantic while also ramping up the spice in the most delicious way. I loved having a little cameo from my girl Lena from "WRECK MY PLANS" which is Jillian's christmas novel.
Anyways- the beginning was worrisome for a moment when Finn, our mmc, was trying to be grumpy. However, how beautiful charismatic sunshine, Millie, made short work of that. She is absolutely delightful and made me smile the entire time. I loved how she interacts with her amazing family, with Finn's nieces, and with Finn.
I respected that she didn't want to get the reputation for 'sleeping to the top' as a woman in STEM, I thought that was a very valid concern for her that some might have disregarded.
NOW LET'S TALK ABOUT FINN. Space daddy, Catan champion, and purchaser of the hunter green kitchenaid stand mixer. This man is so swoony. I loved every moment he was on page. He is so flirty, so sexy, and above all, he is just a really solid dude. I thought he was a great uncle to the two little girls (who were also absolutely delightful) and I loved how much he valued them and his promise he made to his sister.
OVERALL- Jillian Meadows is an auto-buy author for me. Full stop. No notes. Loved every second of this book.

Oh I loveeeeeeed this queer, fun take on the groundhogs day trope!
I thought Phoebe was a perfect mc. She's a bit shy, comfortable in her ways and content with life, even if that means living the same day over and over again. I really enjoyed how Jess came in and 'crashed' her party in a sense, and shook up Phoebe's world. These two characters had so much chemistry it was easy to see how they got along as children and how sweet it was they were able to rekindle their friendship (and then more!!!! eheheheheh) over the course of their repeated days.
Jess getting Phoebe out of her shell was a delight to read about. I related to Phoebe SO much, and the was she displayed personal growth was enviable. I was rooting for her the entire time and that's probably because I saw myself a lot in her.
Loved the diverse rep in this as well, fat, queer, non binary, anxiety, IBS and other chronic illnesses.
Can't wait to shake hands with Chatham Greenfield next month at Love Y'all Fest and thank them for this wonderful piece of writing.

A one night stand.....turned into best friend's mom.....to forbidden relationship/age gap romance!?
WOW SO TROPEY! I had a lot of fun with this book- even if it gave me mega anxiety a majority of the time. I thought it was very messy but also sexy and fun!

PASSION. LOVE. FUCKIN. OMG.
I am so obsessed with these two wreckless young adults and their full on wild passion for music and for each other.
Aye aye aye.

Going into this with zero expectations really helped my enjoyment. I was worried after fully hating The Love Hypothesis..... But werewolves and vampyres are almost always a hit for me.
I thought it was so fun but my four stars are mainly for Sparkles the cat and for sweet little Ana.

Solid four stars. I love this series and would love a follow up novella with these two!!!! 😍
Absolutely the best marriage of convenience I've ever read.
I love Han and Kenny so much. I thought their friendship was so heartwarming and that their love was inevitable. Their story felt so raw and so real.
I really admire the way Sonora Reyes writes these beautiful characters!!!

OH JULIAN!!!!
I have really enjoyed his YA novels and I am so glad he's out in the adult romcom world now. This book was an absolute DELIGHT! I thought the plot was so fun, fake dating second chance might be my new favorite trope?!
I thought Denz was such a great MC, I really enjoyed his wit and personality. His family was so quirky and funny, and then BRAY WAS SO HOT THE WHOLE TIME OMG I LOVE HIM 4EVERRRRRRRRRRRR
