I have found this one to be rather hard to review/rate as there were parts that I absolutely loved and raced through but other parts where I was a little bored and didn't want to pick it up again.

I thought the premises was brilliant and I really enjoyed how it was set in New York and then Italy but I found the main character rather whiny and I thought some of the ways he got out of things were rather long winded.

Over all an easy read and I will definitely be reading more from the author

It was a nice easy summer read but other than trying to find her birth mother she didn’t really take many chances so title is a bit misleading and not much in the way of substance.

Got this book from the library on a whim as my baby is 8 weeks old and struggles with trapped wind and this book had a section on colic and I am so glad I did, the advice is brilliant and honest, I just wish I had read it when I was pregnant!!! I don’t necessarily agree with the cry it out method but you don’t have to use that technique and the author is honest about the fact that it is controversial. I will be gifting it to any of my friends who get pregnant in future.

This is an absolutely stunning book, The illustrations are beautiful and bright and was an instant win for me as the main character is a book worm!!
Great way to teach older siblings ways to cope with babies.

This book was brilliant, my toddler is obsessed with animals and vehicles and this was the perfect mix!

The illustrations were fun and the story flowed very well and was entertaining for the adult reader as well as keeping the child captivated. This is also perfect to highlight the great work that emergency services do at this difficult time.

I will be buying a copy of this for us to read a bed time story when it comes out!

This is the third book in the Terry Bell series, I was kindly gifted all three but thought I would read book 3 first so that I could give you an honest review as to if it could be read as a stand alone and it definitely can.

Terry is a taxi driver and sleuth detective but bar the first chapters where it says he is has a fair you don't really see that side in this book and so I am assuming that is explored more in the first two books.

The writing style is fluid and easy to get into. I really enjoyed the fast paced plot and good mix of characters and my favourite line by far was, 'Joe Spud was crazier than a bus full of zombies on a trip to the zoo'.

I will be going back to read the first two in the series and look forward to the next Terry Bell mystery.

Thank you to @colingarrow and @damppebbles for my #gifted copy in exchange for review.
