This is a story of two sisters and their journeys to find love. Sarah is pregnant but finds out the baby's father is cheating on her and Molly is in lust with her boss.

It is a funny and easy read, perfect for summer.

Five mothers, one secret that the police would not imagine in their wildest dreams”.

Being a new mother myself and having established a tight knit group of 'mum' friends solely based on having children at the same time I was very eager to read this and it didn’t disappoint.

It was a fast paced read that I devoured in one sitting. I loved all the twists and turns and the revealing of the characters more sinister sides. I found that although this was a relatively short book the characters were well developed and interesting each with such wildly different lifestyles. There is just the right blend of the women falling apart and building themselves and each other back up to make you really get behind them even though they are all complicit in deception..

I found this a real page turner but my only niggle, and it is a small one, is that throughout the whole book was they kept calling Bella fat and frumpy even though we are told that she is only a size 12!!!!!

Thanks to Netgalley, Orion Publishing Group and the author for a free ARC in return for an honest review.

I read the house of night series when I was in high school and was worried that I wouldn't be able to remember all the characters but I fell straight back in sync and was transported right back to my teenage years (there is a handy catch up of who is who at the start for those who didn't read the house of night series).

We start off with the lead character being warned of impending doom (from a suspect character no less) followed by an act to prevent the doom which leads to a whole heap of trouble causing the nerd herd to rush to the rescue. Sound familiar? That's because it is pretty much the plot for every other book in this series but I like that I can always go to this series for some easy reading, knowing whats in store.

If you like YA Vampire fiction or even YA fantasy, I would definitely recommend PC Cast books, the writing is descriptive, fun and easy to follow.

This is estentially the struggle of a teenage girl trying to survive in the shadow of her run away older sister whilest keeping it all a secret.

I haven't read a YA in a while so I wasn't sure if I would still enjoy them but I did. The character was well thought out and developed well and the story tackled some of the issues facing teenagers today. I especially liked that it raised the issue that trying to blend in and keep you head down so no one notices you isn't always they right thing to do or the only option.

What would you do if you woke up thirty years older than you were yesterday?

The premise of this book is a young woman who every year at the stroke of midnight on December 31st, wakes up into a different year of her life. She can wake up in the future or the past and has to live her life for that year without any choice. The first time she jumps she goes from her 19 year old body to her 51 year old body but mentally she is only 20 and does not have any recollection of the skipped years.

I really enjoyed seeing the flip between years, the way her opinion changed as she got older and the and the cruel twists of fate that sneak up on you like nasty ninjas.

I thought it was written really well and it had helpful pages between chapters that had the year she had skipped to with her physical age/mental age to help you keep track. There is also a clever use of music throughout the book to help the reader really throw back to the time she is describing and adds a nostalgic element.

I thought this book was brilliant, I haven't read many time travel books but I feel like now I might and if Montimore wants to right a sequel where we see more of Oona's jumps I would be all over that!!

This is the story of a group of school girls who are led down a dark path that spirals out of control.⁣

I think teenage me would have devoured this book as it really nails the teenage emotions and I have no doubt it will do well.⁣

However there were ALOT of parts that I didn’t agree with and I thought the way it was written made it hard to follow and stay engaged so much so that I almost DNF.⁣

This is the story of an elderly couple who's son wants them to move into a home. It tells the tale of their life now with snippets of their past woven in to reveal dark secrets. This was an understated yet compelling read.

Jack takes a daily walk to a cafe where, one day, he meets Marinela. As the story develops you can see parallels between Bet and Marinela and you begin to have more of an understanding for each character because of it.

This is definitely not what I was expecting, I think I went in thinking this would be a funny, heart warming read - it wasn't - it was so much more. This was a real and gritty look at what life is like for the elderly living amongst us and of how strong love for another can be.
