Overall this was just an average murder mystery but I did like how the real life element drew you in and even found myself googling to see if this had really happened! There was some good parts such as when the author tells you there was already a clue in the first chapter and it did keep you guessing in places but I just felt it lacked something that I can’t quite put into words
This series has me hooked but is not for the faint hearted! The scenes are graphic and grotesque but the writing and plots are brilliant and even manages to provide a will they-won’t they love story along side! Off to buy the next one now!
Finished this booked within days and have ordered the third installed the second I finished! Love that the twists and turns aren’t your standard thriller twists that can be guess from the start and that there are realist relationships through out.
Good story, with likeable characters (with the exception of the murders obviously!) very graphic.
The Accidental Further Adventures of the Hundred-Year-Old Man

Worth a read but for me it is was not as good as the first one as it did not have the then and now chapters which I feel really made the first book
