This book had so much potential but I found myself struggling through it. It's way too fast and sometimes I felt like I'd missed something but nope,  I hadn't. 

The two main characters relationship shifts way too quick and nothing really mashes it so they fall in love.  It just happens and that's it. 

Maybe the story just needed more space for development, but this short space just didn't do the idea justice. 

Also there is random chapters from another book at the end, that were not needed in that amount. I would've preferred more space for the story.

If you like a quick romance HEA, this will do but it wasn't for me. Not terrible, just not fit me. 

The Little Mermaid is my favorite disney movie and this was such an interesting twist, alternate ending if you will. I do feel there was some fluff and unneeded parts about Vanessa's plan to take over countries, but it wasn't too much. It still all worked very well together and I love the little homages to the movie.

This has been on my TBR for a while, but it was well worth the wait. The story is incredibly dark and touches upon triggering topics such as depression and suicide. It's an interesting look at how things such as digital media can still inflict trauma upon a person, even if the event didn't actually happen to the person. Has a Ring feeling to it.

I throughly enjoyed this.  Cesare does a great job of diverse characters and keeps the story going so it's non stop tense and excitement. A definite read if you enjoyed CiaC.

This book was such an interesting read. It's a little tricky if your not a non-fiction reader normally, but the stories and information was quite eye opening. It does have a lot of data in some parts, but the book does focus more on how society has viewed sex from ancient times until now.   Esmé does a great job of mixing humor with information and insight.

This book is very much a philosophy book, so if you're looking for a book like ASOUE, then you might want to look elsewhere. This is a book about a man thinking about his life and all the things that he thinks about as he goes about his day. He touches about various concepts and ideas about the world around him and within ourselves.

This was a very confusing collection of short stories. Some seemed to be connected, then others weren't. It was trying to follow the thoughts of the characters but they became very muddled and confusing. It's a very nihilistic view of love but it didn't translate very well to the page.  There were some good stories but overall,  it didn't work for me. 

I can see why this is considered Christie's masterpiece. The narrative is very engaging and the twist is quite extraordinary. It's such a good puzzle for anyone who enjoys trying to solve a crime. Lord knows I didn't get it right.

I enjoyed all the stories except for the last one.  I enjoyed reading the story very of the mousetrap to see a little bit more about it. 

This was a great book. The second of LaRocca's and it was very enjoyable! It definitely tells with dark and tense subject material. Check your trigger warnings.
