I loved this dual story between Aron and Daniel. I love how they are so good at writing overlapping but different stories (The Eyes of Desperation Black and Red Versions).

Both stories are interesting in showing what people can do to one another and just have so many interesting themes to them. You really only end up feeling bad for one person in the entire book. A really great story told from two points of views.

I very fun short story from Aron. Never dissapoints. This one isn't super gory compared to some of his other works, but it's a real good mindf***.

All Hell breaks loose!

The blood is practically dripping from this one there is so much. I really like they didn't drag the story out but just brought it to finale in an explosive way.

I have to say, this book was very much not for me.

It felt like it couldn't decide what genre it wanted to be. It was like being caught in a movie and not, possibly paranormal or just some ramblings of a deranged serial killer. I couldn't relate to any of the characters and they all seemed flat.

I understand this was trying to be like a meta-slasher story, aware of itself, but it felt so forced into fitting into the genre of slasher, that it ended up failing. It was like trying to watch Scream from the killer's point of view but it just failed.

Maybe others will like this book, but this just did not do it for me.

This is my first long work I've read from Ito and I really enjoyed the story. If you don't like body horror, stay away from this. Otherwise, plug up your nose and enjoy the ride.

This was certainly an interesting take on Beauty and the Beast and goes into a much darker direction than I initially expected. It makes a lot of commentary about society and what happens when those that are the minority are treated. It did a great job exploring social constructs.

The story was also really interesting because it follows the story we all know up until one specific point and then goes much awry. I very much enjoyed Belle and the Beast's journey in this as much as the original story and the twists it takes are unexpected.

This book was a delightful surprise! It packs an enormous punch for the length. You learn about Grady and the poor life decisions he's made, which he takes no responsibility for, and how they affect him, and then you begin to wonder if this ghost story is a ghost story or a man on the verge of losing his sanity.

Great job Aaron!

So this was a fun read and I really enjoyed the ride. I really enjoyed the characters and the plot was very interesting. I only had one real problem: almost too much spicy content. I know that's partially the point, but it was happening so much that it took away from the plot. I wanted to enjoy more of the MC's relationship and thoughts, but the spiciness was very constant that it dulled down the action and excitement of the story.

Other than that, I quite enjoyed everything about this book and think if you like paranormal romance with some trigger warnings, this is for you.

This was a very trippy read but a intriguing mystery/thriller. There was so much going on but in a good way. The story is quite sad but still really beautiful and touching. The artwork is brilliant. It does have a dubious ending, so if that's your thing, this is for you!

Loved this! It was a very hallmark Christmas story with a little spice and a little magic. Daryl never dissapoints.
