Absolutely amazing but absolutely not for everyone.

TW: All of them

This book contains so much violence, gore, and just depraved acts of humanity but it's all for a point.

This book took quite a while for me to get into. Maguire is someone who's books I want to enjoy more but his usage of overly flowery language tends to muddle up certain aspects of a story. The story was good and I appreciated the ending, but not one of my favorite books.

I didn't feel this was a strong way to end the series. The beginning of the book is slow and the main character is quite unlikeable. Not very much happens until about 2/3 of the way into the book and Sophie and Howl are minor characters. It's a good read but for the ending of trilogy, it didn't seemed to have a great ending.

This book was a trip and my first from Hiers. All the characters were interesting and the plot was a good one to follow with plenty of intrigue. The adult scenes were....*sweating profusely* well done.

If you enjoy paranormal monster romances, then this one if for you. It's got action, romance and a whole lot more.

Also, the characters are so sassy it's great!

To be honest, this was an interesting read. There is only one section of the book I could've done without, which is why it didn't get 5 stars, but it honestly felt like it dragged the narrative down.

The last section of the book saved it from going lower. There is still some confusion for me as the main character's mental state, but it does make sense when you get towards the end.

This was a lovely start to this series of novellas. The characters are all different and easy to tell apart. Their stories are good, and the spicy scenes are just enough. The characters all have different relationships with one another which is really refreshing.

Another great work by Daryl Banner!

This book goes from 0-100 real quick in terms of content.

The story is actually really sweet at some parts and almost reads like a romance and it's kind of sweet to think that these two MCs find someone who they can relate to...even if it's not for the greatest reasons.

A little slow to get into but once I was in, I couldn't put it down.

Trigger warnings: Everything

This book was hard to get through because well...nothing really happens. I only finished it because I cannot not finish a book, but there was just nothing really keeping me interested to know what was going to happen.

One of the MC's is so insecure that it's distracting and the other is just so proud it becomes problematic. There was no problem to be solved or conflict to work through. I really wanted to like them but I just found them very cookie cutter and I have no desire to read through the series.

This book was a real tear-jerker! I loved the entire story, and all the characters made it wonderful. I love how Klune makes social commentary in such an imaginative and fun way.

Highly recommend!

I do enjoy the puzzles in this very much, but the story can be quite confusing to follow but still interesting. I will gladly do vol.3 when it comes out.
