A very interesting story. More sci-fi than horror but interesting none the less. Not very gory but the actions of the humans are what makes this an interesting story.

This is the second of Junji Ito's works I've read and it's much better than Deserter. Honestly, read that first and then go into his later works because his style became much darker and way more detailed. I really enjoyed this one.

I didn't realize this was all one long story but it wasn't bad, but it felt a little disjointed and even Ito seems to feel that way in the afterword. It felt very spiritual with a cult aspect but it was a bit hard to read because of all the varying stories seemly disconnected. A good read though.

Not one of my favorite collections. Even in the afterword, Ito mentioned he might be tired of writing manga, but it was still good. There was two stories in this I really enjoyed, but not one of my favorite collections overall.

This was the first books of Junji's I read and specifically chose it because it is one of his earlier works. His art style isn't fully developed and his story telling is still being perfected but it is still a great read. It's not very much body horror but it still has it's gore moments. Still really recommend.

This one took the tough stuff up to a new level and I thought it was handled very nicely. I love seeing the characters, and even the side characters, develop into new and exciting people.

This volume definitely got into much deeper stuff when it comes to coming out and the problems that can come with it. I think Alice did a good job of bringing them to light but handling them the way most teenagers would. Vol. 4 coming soon.

Love the story and how it's not just a romance but a coming out story as well and how it's still not easy even today.

Loved it. It kept me hooked and I would just pick up and read. The pacing was great and I loved the characters and how they handled their last day. Spoiler Alert: They both do die in the end.

Amazing follow up to TBDATE...I was so engrossed in the book and these new characters. It kept me hooked and I'm really sad that it's over. I loved all the connections to the first book and again, all the overlapping storylines. I really hope we get more of the Death Cast Universe.
