Hunter is need of a new agent at the end of his season when his current one has a heart attack. His best option? Kate. They went to college together, ran in the same social circle and secretly crushed on each other. She also knows what happened in his past and the events that still haunt him to this day.

Hunter and Kate have great chemistry. They have their past friendship that can be built upon, once they get over the one night the spent together in college. I loved Kate. She cares about her clients, she loves hockey and it shows in every aspect of her life. She isn’t a push over when it comes to her career and she isn’t going to let the male dominated field run all over her. I loved Hunter, too. He is broken and struggling with events of his past. He struggles if he is worth it at times and doesn’t think he can ever truly have a relationship. Him and Kate are truly perfect for each other.

This story does deal with mental health, mainly PTSD when it comes to Hunter. It shows its okay to confide in love ones and it is okay to seek help from a professional.

If you’re looking for a friends to lovers, second chance, hockey romance this is one to check out.

I absolutely adore the Boggy Creek Series and Playing with Words is a great addition!! Greer and Hudson are perfect for each other.

Greer is a book lover, she is living her dream of owning her own book store. Hudson is a writer who escaped his big city life for the small town he spent time in as a kid. The second Greer and Hudson meet each other there is a connection between them. They were both smitten with each other, but Greer is a workaholic and Hudson is only in town temporarily.

I love Greer. She is sweet, she is quirky, and she is hardworking. Honestly, I just want to be her best friend. Hudson (insert heart eye emoji here). The man is swoony AF. I instantly fell in love with him and fell more and more as the story continued. He is sweet and caring. I love that the two of them have such a strong shared love for books. They started out as friends, but quickly as they spent more time together things shifted and the heat index of this story went sky high.

I can’t wait to return to Boggy Creek!

It is time for another Riggins brother to find his magic and all it took was a single touch for Conrad to find his.

Conrad and Aspen are no strangers, their siblings, Aurora and Grant, are engaged and now they are heading up to the Riggins family cabin early to help prep for their siblings wedding. From previous book in the series you could tell there was some chemistry between Conrad and Aspen but nothing never happened. All it took was a single touch and a snowstorm for their chemistry to combust into something more.

Conrad instantly felt the magic his father and his older brothers have talked about when it came to Aspen, but he just needed for her to feel it and to see how perfect they are together. Aspen was a little hesitant when it came to Conrad. She knew he was into going out on the weekends and kind of a player, but she didn’t know that he hasn’t done any of that for a while. I absolutely love the two of them. Their story is sweet and does get a little emotional towards the end. It is truly beautiful from start to finish and I couldn’t put this one down.

I love that there was plenty of the previous Riggins brothers we have all grown to know and love, plus I can’t wait to see the youngest brother, Marshall, find his magic! I’m sad this series is coming to an end because I do not want to say goodbye to this family.

Cole, Evan and Natalie had been friends for years. Cole and Evan worked together as firefighters, while Evan and Natalie were married. However, Cole has been in love with Natalie for years. After Evan dies in a fire, Natalie is left a widow. Now, two years later, Cole and Natalie are still friends and he helps her around the home when she needs it and keeps his feeling towards her hidden, along with a secret he has been holding for years.

Flashpoint is a great start to a new series! Cole and Natalie’s story was full of fire, angst and emotions from the very start. I loved the forbidden aspect to their story with Natalie being his best friends widow and also very much a party of the firefighting family. My heart broke for Natalie, she has lost so much in her life to fires and has to battle her feelings for Cole and her fear of the profession he is in. However, there is only some much one person can take before they give in. I loved the sweet and tender moments between Natalie and Cole.

Scout and Daisy were friends in high school, but while in college they had one week together. One week to explore each other, their feelings and the chemistry that was between them before each of them went one to go live their dreams. However, that one week together completely changed everything for the both of them.

I loved getting the history of Scout and Daisy from their friendship to the week they spent together. There was chemistry between them, there was so much emotional and I loved it. Then the story jumps four years into the future (if you’ve read This Much is True, this is where the stories finally meet) and I absolutely loved it. Scout is protective, caring, loving and ultra swoony. Daisy has grown up and I loved that she made a name for herself, too. Add in the sassiest little three and a half year old, Melody, and it is a whole lot of love. I loved Scout with Melody SO MUCH. Their moments together were super sweet and so adorable. That little girl can win over anyone.

Steamy, Emotional and absolutely addicting. The moment I started reading I fell in love with Nick and Trixie! They have been friends for years and there has always been chemistry between them, but neither one of them really acted upon that chemistry and the connection they had.

I couldn’t get enough of these two. Nick’s love for his animals showed throughout this entire story. You can feel how much he truly cares for them. Plus, the peacefulness of his farm. Trixie is a little fireball and I loved her. She is sassy, feisty, can hold her own and also extremely caring. Trixie wants the fairy tale, she wants someone to love her and support her. Nick on the other hand believes that love is destructive, especially given everything that happened in his past.

These two brought out so much in the other. I loved their friendship, their chemistry, their banter, and their relationship. Nick and Trixie quickly became one of my favorite Melissa Foster couples to date! I’m #TeamNixie for life!

Brexton and Drew grew up together. They were best friends. Their families were best friends. Her father a sports agent and his father a NFL superstar. Until one event completely changed everything and they became forbidden to one another.

Now, years later, Brexton is a sports agent for her family’s company and Drew is trying to make it in the NFL, but the scandal of his father overshadows his skills as a player. In all the years their paths haven’t crossed, but now that they have, these two are drawn to each other. There is a connection between them that neither of them can deny.

I absolutely loved Drew and Brex. There is so much chemistry between them. I love that they don’t let the past define their present together and they spend the time to get to know each other.
However, they do have to overcome what happened in the past between their families to truly put it behind them. That secret had me on the edge of my seat. I wanted to know the truth, I wanted to know what really happened all those years ago and I couldn’t read fast enough to find out.

A Love Song for Always was the perfect conclusion to Tyler and Annie’s story. This was truly the book I never knew I needed.

Tyler and Annie haven’t always had an easy journey when it came to their relationship, but they have finally reached their wedding. This book just brought joy to my soul because after everything they can finally and truly be happy together and do it all in front of their friends and family.

I also enjoyed the little teaser of what is to come and I am dying for the next series from Piper Lawson!

If you’ve read the previous three books in The Rivals series then you’ll want to read this one!

From page one I completely fell in love with Penny and Tommy. As their story continued, I continued to fall more and love with these two characters. Mix in the beautiful setting of a Napa Winery and Maybe Yours is the perfect escape.

Penny has dated a string of less than stellar men and has pretty much given up. Tommy is fresh out of a long-term relationship. The two of them have worked together for years, but never really spent time together, however, it was easy to see there was something between them. The two of them are complete opposites. Tommy is kind of grump with a mix of sweetness once you pull some layers and Penny is more of a free spirt, just kind of goes with the flow. They have some meddling bosses and friend’s aka Jack, who mentions a new dating app where you don’t share any pictures of yourself. Penny downloads the app out of curiosity to see if maybe something will come from it and Jack downloads the app for Tommy and this is where things start to get interesting.

I loved the back and forth between Penny and Tommy on the app and when they started spending more time together with their bee’s. On the app they were forming a deeper connection and truly getting to know each other. On the vineyard they were forming a friendship and I loved seeing that grow and I loved the fact that they bonded over bees. They had me laughing so many times, but there was also some frustration and I wanted to knock some sense into both Pen and Tom!

It was great to get more of Ellen, Will, Lauren and Jack throughout the story and get little glimpses of the previous couples. Of course, Oscar and Olivia and their little remarks were always hilarious. I’m hoping that there is a story in the future for two certain characters in the future because I need to know more!

Thank you to Claire Raye for the advanced copy for an honest review.

Harper and Ethan have been best friends since they could walk, they have done everything together, except share their true feelings about each other. Everyone could see they were perfect for each other, but they always denied it. Until Harper had too much to drink and may have told other small business owners that she is engaged.

I loved the friendship between Harper and Ethan. You could feel that they truly are best friends, that they would do anything for each other and will always be there for each other, however, there is also a ton of chemistry between the two of them. So many times throughout their story I just wanted them to give into that chemistry and the tension that was brewing between them.

Harper and Ethan’s friendship and relationship was full of ups and downs but you can’t help but root for these two to find their happily ever after with each other. They may be one of my favorite couples at Circle B Ranch.
