I LOVE Silas. I LOVE Skylar. The two of them together is a burning inferno and I couldn’t get enough of it!

Silas, well he is kind of a jerk. He hides behind a mask and doesn’t let anyone see the real man. However, from the moment Skylar entered into his life the mask started to fall. Skylar has a huge heart. She just wants to fit in and feels like the outcast, but Silas doesn’t make her feel like that.
I loved the journey these two characters went both individually and together. Things weren’t also easy, they both pushed each other. There were heartbreaking moments and moments of pure love.

These are two people who’d you never expect to be together, yet they are truly perfect for each other. There is so much chemistry between them, even when they were hating each other.
Silas and Skylar’s journey was an emotional one, it was a slow burn, but in the end it was completely worth the wait.

Southern Heat is a suspenseful slow burn that I couldn’t put down!

Ever since the ending of previous book, Southern Heart, I have been DYING to read this one and see what was going to happen next and it doesn’t disappoint. Quinn and Willow will take you on an emotional journey that will destroy you and slowly piece you back together. Their journey was different, but full of so much beauty and love.

My heart broke for Willow, but she is a fighter, a survivor and I couldn’t help but root for her to get the happy ending she truly deserves. Quinn. Ugh I love him. He is protective and caring and it shows when it came to Willow. He didn’t know her, didn’t even know her name, yet he never left her side. He was there for her from the start and it was beautiful. The two of them have chemistry, there is no denying that fact and while this was a slow burn, it was worth the wait and things got pretty steamy.

If you’re looking for a slow burn, romantic suspense, small town romance this is one to read!

The moment I started reading I couldn’t stop. I was completely sucked into the story and devoured this book. It is a fantastic debut novel and a fantastic start to a series.

The moment Ava and Conner met in the dorms there was a connection between them. I loved the back and forth banter these two had. They continued to run into each other their freshman year and poked each other’s buttons. Ava didn’t expect to see Conner again, however, he is the roommate of one her best friends. While Ava was focused on school and getting her dream job, she also wasn’t afraid to have a little fun. However, one night that forever changed her life and now a permanent connection to the one person she can’t stand, Conner.

Conner first came across as kind of a jerk who just loved to mess with Ava, however, as the story progressed and you learn more about him. He has a sweet side and a protective side, even if he does make a few mistakes. I loved that he steps up and he is truly there for Ava. I enjoyed Ava, too. She was scared and worried, like anyone in her situation would be, but the amount of love and support she had from her friends and her sister, plus Conner was amazing. Despite the button pushing, there is some chemistry between Conner and Ava. I loved that they went from enemies to friend to lovers. I loved the growth of their relationship, even if it was a little bit of a slow burn.

Their group of friends was also amazing. I not only fell in love with Conner and Ava, but the secondary characters. They played a big role throughout the story and I loved the little makeshift family they have all become. I can’t wait for more of the series and to get more of all these characters in the future.

Laughs, emotions and heat. This story had it all.

I completely fell in love with Declan from the beginning. He is charming, witty and a man who cooks and bakes? Yes, please! Molly is also a likeable character. I loved the instant connection these two had and the easy friendship they developed. The chemistry brewing between them was just jumping out of the pages and they both put up a good fight to avoid it.

This story isn’t all cinnamon French toast and pink M&M’s though, there are some emotional aspects that had me crying a few times. Declan was struggling and I just wanted to hug him. Molly was also experienced her own struggles and my heart broke for her. I loved that they were able to lean on each other for support, especially when they both needed it most.

I couldn’t help but fall in love with these characters and this story. Once I started reading it was difficult to put it down. I wanted more of Declan and Molly from their friendship, to their stories, to their relationship.

If you’re looking for a friends to lovers fake dating, slow burn this is one to read.

Logan Tate is the star rookie; however, he is also struggling. Now suspended for eight games, he needs to get some help and return to the rink stronger than ever and be the true player he is. Summer is a sports psychologist and she has her work cut out for her when it comes to Logan and getting him to open up. However, now that she is staying on his family’s property, they can’t avoid each other.

I loved the chemistry between Logan and Summer and there is plenty of tension between the two of them. However, with Logan struggling and Summer being there to help him they both try to fight their connection. The slow burn is completely worth it in the end!

I absolutely loved the entire Tate family and I hope that there is more of them in the future!

I have been dying for this book to see what happened with how book 1 ended for Noah and Katie and Holding You Close jumped right back into the thick of things and I was on the edge of my seat from the very beginning.

The first half of this book was full of suspense and drama that hooks you and then when you think it is all over there is another twist that covers the second half the story and I loved every single minute of it. Noah and Katie haven’t had an easy relationship, especially given their past so you absolutely want the best for them. I am happy they got that and I loved seeing their chemistry and their relationship continue to grow throughout the story. Noah helping with Owen and truly caring for him like his own son was one of my favorite things.

I loved how this story truly focused on Katie and Noah’s relationship throughout a majority of it and them adjusting to their new life together and Owen’s adjustment to everything. They were truly meant to be together, even though it wasn’t always an easy past.

This also does provide some set up into what is coming next and I am already in love with Everleigh so I CANNOT wait for her and Archer!

If you’re looking for a friends to lovers with suspense and amazing chemistry this is one to read!

Farrah has had a crush on her brothers best friend, Jace, for as long as she can remember but never dreamed that he would return any sort of feelings for her.

Farrah and her brother, Nathan, lost their parents tragically when they were younger and Jace was a witness to their deaths. The events of that day haunted all of them, especially Jace. There are things about that day that Jace never expressed to Farrah and things that could ruin everything between them.

There are so many different feelings and emotions between Jace and Farrah. They feel comfortable together, they can easily open about most things to each other. Jace doesn’t want to act upon his feelings because doesn’t feel like he is good enough, he doesn’t want to lose Farrah or Nathan. There is so much chemistry and tension between them throughout the story and it just continues to grow until it all boils over. Their story isn’t an easy one, it is emotional and a slow burn with some forbidden vibes to it but it is completely worth the wait.

If you’re looking for an angsty, slow burn, second chance romance with a forbidden aspect this one is a must read!

The more and more this series continues to more and more I fall in love with the entire Riggins family! Seriously wishing I can at least be adopted by this family! They are caring, loving, sweet, supportive and just everything you could want.

Grant Riggins is the middle brother and the moment he feels the magic he is hooked and he goes full force. I loved that while he was persistent when it came to Aurora, he wasn’t overly pushy in a way that is a turn off. He was caring and understanding and willing to listen to her and follow her lead. I was swooning hardcore for the man. I absolutely loved Aurora! She is a fighter and though she may have been broken down in the past she had all the right people in her corner to love her and support her and help her along the way.

The chemistry between Grant and Aurora is absolutely amazing. They had an instant connection and that connection just grew stronger and deeper as their story continued. I loved everything about their relationship. I also loved how Grant included Aurora’s sister, Aspen, into the Riggins family.

If you’re looking for a sweet romance that is a little bit of slow burn, full of amazing chemistry and one of my family book families this is a must read!

I’ve been waiting for Noah and Katie’s story since these two characters were first introduced. They were best friends, they were in love with each other, however, neither one of them admitted their feelings and Katie ended up marrying Noah’s cousin, Gabe, and Noah ended up in prison.

Now, ten years later, Noah is out of prison and Katie has to face him. There is a lot of pain and hurt there, however, there is also a lot of chemistry and neither of them can deny it. Some people aren’t happy that Noah is back in town and out of prison, so there is some drama around that. He also has to keep him and Katie’s relationship a secret because of everything going on around him. I loved they two of them together. There were so many sweet moments between them and moments between Noah and Katie’s son, Owen.

Since this is the first book in their duet there is a lot of build up and things really start to pick up with their relationship and the suspense towards the end and everything comes together in a cliffhanger that had my jaw on the floor. Though, I do have some theories about what is going on, so I can’t wait for their conclusion!

If you’re looking for an angsty, slow burn, friends to lovers romance that ends on doozy of a cliffhanger this is one to read!

Avery and Declan have been best friends since college, they are also roommates. They understand each other and they have a great friendship. I absolutely loved their friendship and the bond that they had from the start. When Avery gets into a pretty bad car accident, Declan steps up to help and become her caretaker. However, this accident has also caused a shift in their friendship.

Avery and Declan have chemistry, they have a strong connection that goes deeper than friendship. Yet, neither of them wants to risk ruining what they have or their friendship with the rest of the group. Avery is focused on her job with her sisters and recovering from the accident. Declan is focused on taking care of Avery, but he also avoids relationships thanks to what he has witnessed growing up with his parents.

I loved seeing their friendship grow into something more throughout the course of the story. It is a slow burn, but it is worth the wait. I loved seeing the growth of these characters throughout the course of the story, especially with Declan.

I can’t wait for more of the Spark sisters!
