I love the Kincaid family and from the start of the series Declan’s daughter, Blakely, has stolen the show. This book is no exception and I absolutely loved her and her father and when you add in Kennedy it is perfect.
Kennedy is newly divorced and heads out of town to take care of her Grandma and her grandma’s business while she is injured. She instantly connects with the Kincaid family and has a spark with Declan. Declan’s main focus has always been his daughter, sure he dated, but nothing that would ever lead to anything more series, at least until he met Kennedy.
Kennedy and Declan have a connection from the start, but they both kind of a fight it for a bit before deciding to have some fun while Kennedy is still in town. Their story is fun, but it is also emotional at times. I love how protective Declan is of his daughter, but also Kennedy. I love how quickly Kennedy and Blakely formed a connection.
If you’re looking for a small town, single dad romance this is one to check out.

It is bittersweet that this series is coming to an end because I absolutely fell in love with Boggy Creek, but the best was saved for last. I devoured this story and absolutely fell in love with Kyle, Cat and Everly!
Everly has found herself in a bad situation and she runs away to Kyle. He is someone that people wouldn’t expect her with or really know they have a connection. Kyle is a k9 police officer for the small town of Boggy Creek.
I LOVE Kyle. Like LOVE LOVE him. He has a dog named Cat and a love for Jane Austen, including reading them out loud to Everly, and setting up picnics. Seriously, the man is perfect. He is also extremely protective and he loves his friends and family and will do anything for them. I love Everly, too. She is a fighter and I love her determination to get out of her situation. I loved their chemistry from the start and I loved the progression of their relationship.
I loved the suspense element throughout this story. I loved seeing them piece together all the pieces of the puzzle and of course to get justice that was deserved.
If you’re looking for a small town, forced proximity, slightly suspenseful romance this is one to read.

Mariah was running away from her previous life to give a better one for her daughter and herself when she gets into a horrible accident near the small town of Mason Creek. Miller is still somewhat new to Mason Creek and a doctor when he crosses paths with Mariah.
Mariah and Miller have an instant attraction towards each other and there is definitely chemistry between the two of them. I loved seeing them connect and form a relationship. I also loved to see relationship form a bond with Claire.
I love how the town of Mason Creek so quickly rallied around Mariah and her daughter, Claire. They instantly took them in and helped them without any expectations.

I loved returning back to the small mountain town for Chloe and Griffin’s story.
From the moment Chloe and Griffin met there was a connection between the two of them. Chloe’s insecurities are preventing her from believing that someone like Griffin could actually be interested in her and Griffin just wants to make sure that Chloe is safe and tries to keep his distance from her.
The tension in this book is thick, but I couldn’t get enough of it. You can feel the chemistry brewing between Chloe and Griffin. Griffin’s obsession with Chloe drives him. When they finally give in to their connection the sparks fly and instantly heats up the pages.
From the spice to the suspense this story was such a fun, quick read.

I absolutely fell in love with Teagan and Aaron from page one. These two characters are so perfect for each other and don’t always have an easy road when it came to their relationship.
With Teagan’s fathers girlfriend moving in she takes this as a sign to finally move out and live her own life. She heads to Pearl Lake to live in the apartment above her brother and future sister-in-law’s garage. In a short amount of time, she has found several jobs and enjoying putting her own touches on her new home. Aaron is a Pearl Lake resident and hired by Van to finish up the construction of the apartment. He isn’t a fan of the spoiled rich woman and the moment he meets Teagan he dislikes her based on a preconceived notion.
There is no shortage of chemistry between these two. However, between the two of them, there is no shortage of secrets either. They need to work through things individually in order to come out stronger in the end and it wasn’t going to be an easy road, yet they had the support of each other.
Teagan’s struggles and her past traumas play a huge part in this story, but they are a huge part of who she is. The way this was handled was done with care and in a way that is authentic.

I knew I would love Archer and this book just confirmed it.
Archer and Indi are amazing together. I absolutely love the two of them. I love that Indi isn’t afraid to call out Archer. That she isn’t afraid to stand up to him, yet it is difficult to resist the man’s charm. Yet, Archer also has some struggles when things start to change between him and Indi.
I love Indi. I love her personality. I love that she has worked hard to build up her owner business and make it extremely successful, despite the fact that isn’t what her family wanted for her. Archer’s family is the opposite of what Indi ever experienced growing up and this makes her realizing it even more. I also love when Archer gets an insight into all this and stands up for Indi….I was cheering for the man at this point! Archer…I mean there isn’t much to say about the man…other than he is easy to love and you just kind of want to give him a hug.
The chemistry between Indi and Archer is off the charts! I couldn’t get enough of them. I love how drawn they were to each other from the start. I loved how Archer finally let someone in slowly and let down his walls. Indi is the perfect person to help him move on from his past.

Gavin was looking to escape his previous life in Hollywood when he ended up in Sunrise Bay. The moment he saw Posey, he wanted to ask her on a date, however, after running her off the road he didn’t think it was a good time and now he finally has his chance. Posey isn’t a huge fan of Gavin, however, she is attracted to the man. But when she finds out that he is running for Mayor of Sunrise Bay and her mothers new competition he quickly becomes public enemy number one.
There is a ton of chemistry between Gavin and Posey, even when they are enemies there is still a strong connection between them. I loved their story from start to finish. Gavin is swoony and I loved the fact that he was kind of awkward and nervous at times, versus being the arrogant heartthrob. It made him so much more likable. I loved Posey. She is one of the youngest of the Greene family, her past with her father has created some issues, but I love that she had the rest of her family, especially Marla, there to support her.
I absolutely adore the Greene family and always love getting more of them in Sunrise Bay, but it was fun to get a little bit of the Bailey family, as well.

Callum and Willa are attracted to each other, the issue? Callum is her teacher. However, he is drawn to her and wants to protect her. He can’t stay away and Willa doesn’t want him to stay away either.
Callum has been hurt in the past and really has a lot of issues when it comes to relationships because of that. He really overreacts at times and jumps to conclusions way too quickly. Yet, I still like his character. Willa, I love her. She really keeps to herself and works hard so she can get out of the house she is in. She deals with so much on her own, at least until Callum.
Callum and Willa have a connection. They have chemistry. I loved to see how their relationship grew and progressed and how they dealt with all the challenges that they faced as a couple, but also as individuals.
I loved the entire Park family. They are rather unique and I hope there will be plenty more books with each of them.

After being introduced to Scar and Hana in Fearless I was looking forward to their story and it was so much more than I expected.
Hana has been through a lot, she has done a lot in her past and all that continues to come back and haunt her. Scar also has a history and a past, some of it he would like to keep hidden but that isn’t possible. From the moment Scar and Hana meet there is a connection. The two of them are completely drawn to each other. Scar even tries to avoid their connection, but no such luck there. The two of them truly need each other.
I loved how protective Scar is, especially when it comes to Hana. He proves time and time again that he will do anything and everything he can to protect her and keep her safe. Hana definitely wasn’t afraid to tell Scar how she felt and I liked the fact she didn’t keep her feelings a secret.
While this is a standalone, I would highly recommend reading Fearless first to really get a better picture of what is going on.

The twist and turns just keep on coming for Lachlan and Julia! I was sucked back into their world with this book and couldn’t put it down.
I love Lachlan and Julia more and more with each book. Lachlan is super sweet and protective. He will do whatever he can to protect those he cares about. Plus, I adore the bond that he quickly formed with Imogene. I can see the two of them having a great relationship with each other. Julia…I love her. I feel so much for you. You can see how much of an impact her ex has on her still, but Lachlan will help her and be there throughout it all no matter what.
Their chemistry continues to be insane and I love that they are out of the vacation romance and into their real lives and finding ways to make it work.
The cliffhanger!!!! I have no words! I had a guess of where things may end BUT this was not it. I am DYING for the final book and to see where things go from here.
