Then four years later there is still the chemistry between them, but there is also a lot of pain and heartbreak.

Luca may have the reputation as a playboy, but really there is so much more to him. He has so many layers. He is caring, sweet, protective and extremely charming. It is so hard not to completely just love him. Raven is truly the one for him and he knows that and I love how hard he fought for her and how much he tried throughout the years they were apart.

Luca and Raven’s story was easily my favorite of this series to date. I loved their relationship, their love, and their friendship.

I loved the moments between Ford and his brothers. I also loved Ellery’s love of romance novels and if you’ve read the author before you may recognize some scenes.

Ford Dalton. I have no words. I absolutely loved him and he easily became my favorite Dalton brother.

The moment Ford lays eyes on his daughter, Everly, he falls in love with her and will do anything and everything to protect his little girl. I absolutely adore the bond that the two of them have together. Its so sweet and adorable. However, this leaves no time for him to date. Yet, he does enjoy having fun. When he lays eyes on Sydney he is completely drawn to her. Sydney has been living in Europe and knows what she wants in her life. Her first night back in the states and she meets Ford. There is an instant attraction to him.

The chemistry between Ford and Sydney is off the charts. These two are bringing the spice from the very start. I loved the banter, the tension, and everything in between when it comes to these two. There are some super sweet moments and text conversations between the two of them that just melt your heart. I couldn’t get enough of Ford and Sydney.

I loved the instant connection between Sydney and Everly. They are both drawn to each other and I loved the relationship they had with each was so sweet and adorable.

I loved seeing Sutton grow and find herself again throughout the course of this story after everything her ex had put her through. I loved that there was so much more to Callahan than what is on the surface. He is the youngest of his brothers and was also treated differently, but there were many other things that occurred that his own family doesn’t know. Sutton and Callahan both helped each other find themselves and I loved seeing them grow closer the more time they spend together.

I can’t wait to get to know the rest of the Sharpe brothers!

They saw each other for more than what was just on the outside and I loved that about the both of them.

I loved their story. It spanned multiple years and wasn’t always easy and true feelings were pushed deep down everything between Ledger and Asher is completely worth the wait.

First off, I am typically not a fan of historical romances, BUT this story was fantastic. Yes, it takes place in a different time period, but don’t let that deter you. The story is captivating and the world that has been created and the characters in this story all play a role that add so much to the overall story.

Emeline is a Saxon princess. Skarth is a Northman aka a Viking. They come from different lives. They are suppose to hate each other, yet the moment they meet there is something between them. There is a connection and they are both drawn to each other. The two of them form an unlikely pair and I loved seeing how over the years how their relationship has grown and changed.

I loved Emeline. I loved the fact that she isn’t the stereotypical princess. She is a warrior. She is a BA. The woman can hold her own and she isn’t afraid to stand up to Vikings or really anyone. She can’t be broken. She doesn’t give up. She is insanely smart and resourceful, too. She is a heroine that you can’t help but admire. I can’t wait to see how much she grows throughout the course of this series. Skarth….I don’t even have the words. It is easy to love the man. While the man may be referred to as Godless, there is a lot of layers to his character. I love getting to see a lot of different sides to him, even if some of those sides may end up being his downfall.

I can’t wait to return back to the series and see where things go for Emeline and Skarth….and Ulf. Especially, after that cliffhanger of an ending!

There is so much anger, hate, revenge and passion between Cat and Hunter from the start. Yet, there is also something deeper between them. A shared connection. I loved the back and forth between them. I loved that there is so much more to Hunter than just the hatred and revenge plot.

I couldn’t get enough of this story. It brings the hate, the passion and the drama from the start.

Dirty Secrets by Ivy Fox and Thandie:

Nicole is spending Christmas with her sister and her ex. It’s not something that she is looking forward to, but before heading to meet them she enjoys one night of passion with a stranger…until the next morning when that stranger is her ex’s father. This Christmas gathering is a tangled web with no shortage of drama from the start.

There is no shortage of heat and spice in this short story. It will definitely be keeping you warm on those cold nights. The chemistry between Nicole and James is instant. I love how protective James instantly is of Nicole, but he also lets her fight her own battles, especially when it comes to her sister.

If you’re looking for a forbidden age gap this is one to read.

Kingdom Come is addictive, captivating, full of twits and turns and it had me on the edge of my seat! I loved every single second of this book.

Greyson is a mysterious man and a dangerous man. Yet, there is so much more to his story and to him as a person. The more you get to know the character the more you fall in love for him. Despite him thinking he is a monster and not a hero, he is a hero to Cecilia. I absolutely loved Cecilia from the start. She isn’t a weak character, she can definitely handle things on her own and she does at times. She is a fighter and has no problem speaking the truth.

I loved the connection that Greyson and Cecilia formed. They both needed each other in a way. They were forced together and forced to learn to trust each other, but they never fought anything that was between them. They kept each other alive and safe. When things got rough they didn’t give up on hope either.

From the first to the last page there were twists and turns in this story. Tons of secrets and hidden agendas on all sides. It is the perfect mixture of dark, suspense and there is no shortage of steam.

If you’re looking for a dark romantic suspense this is one to read!

Dark Reign sucked me in. I couldn’t put this book down. I got lost in the story and the suspense and the mystery kept me turning the page and on the edge of my seat.

Despite being a Morelli, Daphne is different from the rest of her family. She doesn’t care about her family’s money or the family business. She wants to make a name for herself and she wants to do art. Emerson is a collector. He loves art. He is known in the art world. Daphne’s art catches his eye, but so does Daphne. There is some mystery and a darkness surrounding him.

I loved the connection between Daphne and Emerson from the start. There is chemistry between them and you can feel it simmering beneath the surface. I love their shared passion for art. Emerson is obsessive and possessive, especially over Daphne. I loved the slow burn of their relationship and the mystery of it all.

This does end on a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to see where things go with Daphne and Emerson.
