Kingston Black has a reputation and it isn’t necessarily a good one. Guin is a kindergarten teacher, well until she mets King and her life is changed. They become roommates and well things from there kind of escalate.

Guin and King had an instant connection the moment they met. They shared a perfect night together. Neither of them could stop thinking about it and when they become roommates their chemistry is still simmering beneath the surface and they can only deny that attraction for so long. There are some steamy moments between the two of them throughout the story. The pranks Guin plays on King were hilarious and he took them pretty well. I loved the bond Guin had with King’s daughters, Cam and Charlie. It was fun to see her interact with them and just be there for the girls and the feeling was mutual for them when it came to Guin.

There is a little bit of suspense when it comes to King and his past. He is still somewhat dealing with everything but as he slowly does and it only helps his relationship with Guin grow.

Vanessa and her daughter, Julia, were first introduced in her twin brother, Vince’s story. I was super excited to find out that she got her own story and it was so well deserved.

Vanessa is a single mother, she works hard at school, at her job and just taking care of her daughter. She also has a great support system around her. Damien is fairly new to the area and quickly became a fixture at Vanessa’s work. There is a connection between the two of them, but Vanessa doesn’t think Damien wants anything to do with a young single mother. Damien isn’t perfect, but he is perfect for Vanessa and the bond he formed with Jules was adorable.

I loved Vanessa and Damien’s relationship. It wasn’t always easy but they worked so well together. Plus the relationship between Damien and Julia was adorable and so sweet.

If you’re read the previous books in the series you’ll recognize some of the secondary characters and if you’ve read Making The Call you’ll recognize Damien’s sister, Dani.

I LOVED this story. The moment I started reading it I completely devoured it.

Morgana is a hardworking, independent woman. She has walls built up around her to protect her heart and she doesn’t let them down. Evan is caring, charming, swoony. He is a pediatric doctor and just so happens to be friends with Morgana’s brother. I LOVED these two characters. They are completely different from each other, yet together they balance each other perfect. Evan is knocking down Morgana’s walls one brick at a time.

There is so much chemistry between these two characters. The tension in the beginning is fantastic. I love how they brother bring out something in the other. Plus, Evan and Hope…..seriously swoony!! Hope instantly stole not only Morgana and Evan’s hearts, but also mine.

Blurred Lines is such a beautiful story and the characters are ones you just want to root for and you want to have a happy ending, because they both truly deserve it.

If you’re looking for a reverse age gap, opposites attract, enemies to lovers, single parent romance this is one to read!

Penny and Rowen are complete opposites. She is somewhat of a free spirit, posting loving woman. He is a technology driven and organized man. Yet the two of them have instant chemistry.

Penny and Rowen developed a great working relationship. Sure, she was his nanny for his six year old niece, Phoebe, but she also helped him with his game. I loved the relationship that Penny and Phoebe built and she became a great influence for the little girl. I loved Penny’s group of friends…seriously, they are a great girl gang and super supportive. Plus, the relationship Penny had with her sisters. And of course, Rowen’s “friends”.

This book is on the lighter side, there is some drama and there are some potential triggers to some people (death and addiction).

Connor is a single father and the town vet. Elizabeth aka Elle, is working towards her degree to become a vet and becomes Connor’s intern.

This story starts when Elle is just his intern and spans several years as she continues to work for Conner and continues to work on her degree. Throughout that time there is plenty of teasing between the two of them and loads of grumpiness from Connor as he tries to deny his feelings for Elle. I seriously loved these two, even though at times I wanted to just yell at them. Connor’s daughter, Olivia, is absolutely adorable and such a great addition to the story. She instantly connected with Elle and it was adorable.

Talk about a slow burn that is completely worth the wait! The entire time I kept thinking is this going to be it, are they finally going to admit how they really feel about each other and the give into the chemistry brewing. When that moment finally happens it is worth the long wait and once it happens it is full speed ahead.

If you’ve read the previous books in the Circle B series there is some overlap in the timelines, but it was fun to get things from a different perspective.

I loved getting more of the Bishop family and the hilarious dialogue between this group is always amazing. I can’t wait to return to Circle B ranch and get more of this amazing family.

Jessie is the owner of Java Jitters and Miles is the doctor in Mason Creek. Their initial meeting got off to a bad start, however, after that initial meeting these two had sparks flying between them.

I loved Jessie and Miles. There is chemistry between them and plenty of sweet moments. After a disastrous first marriage Miles isn’t really looking for a relationship, he is focused on his career and his five-year-old son, Parker. However, there is just something about Jessie that draws him in, plus it also doesn’t hurt that his son is completely smitten with her from the moment he met her.

Perfect Love is just a feel good romance that is on the lighter side (there is a small little bit of drama) and Parker will completely steal your heart and even make you laugh.

Michah Malone inherited the Malone hero complex from his father and his uncles. The moment he met Carina he knew there was something about her, he felt an instant connection to her and when he heard her story he went into overdrive.

Carina is a strong woman. She is a single mom to twin six-year-old boys and everything she had endured over the past 6+ years is absolutely heartbreaking, however, despite all the negative she never stopped fighting for her boys. They were truly the light in all her darkness. I loved the instant connection the boys had with Michah and how they so easily knew he would be good for them and he would do anything he could not only keep them safe, but also keep their mom safe.

Carina and Michach have a connection from the start, but given Carina’s past it wasn’t easy for her to first give into that connection, but she quickly warmed up to Michach. There are plenty of ups and downs in their relationship and of course, the past always comes back and causes some drama.
This story is emotional and at times may be hard for some people to read, but the strength in Carina is empowering.

Maddie is a single mom to one of the best children ever, Elliot. She has a two week vacation and uses that time to go fix up her childhood home that has fallen to shambles over the years. She is staying her childhood best friend and neighbor, Beckett Weaver. Beckett had a career on Wall Street but gave it all up to return back home to his families ranch after his father’s health was declining. Maddie had always been the one he wanted and even after years and years apart.

I loved the friendship between Maddie and Beckett and the connection they had. Beckett isn’t formed a bond with Elliot and accepted him for exactly who he is, unlike the Elliot’s father. All of the feelings they had for each other quickly came to the surface the more time they spent together. Maddie helped Beckett out with his father and took a lot of stress out of his day.

It was great to see the rest of the Bellamy Creek crew, again and get a little more into how things are going for all of them. Plus, the way Maddie and Elliot quickly became apart of the group was amazing.

I wasn’t sure what to expect going into Beckett’s story, but I completely fell in love with him, Maddie and Elliot. This is easily my favorite one in the series.

Chase doesn’t do relationships after his past. When a one-night stand walks out before anything can really happen because of her daughter he is relieved but also can’t stop thinking about the woman. Maggie is a single mom, her daughter is everything to her. However, she can’t stop thinking about the man she almost had a one-night stand with. Until fate causes them to cross paths again.

Chase and Maggie have some insane chemistry from the very start. I loved Chase. He is broken and still hurt about what happened in his past. Yet, he knew there was something different about Maggie and couldn’t stay away from her. Plus, her daughter instantly wrapped him around her little fingers. There were so many sweet and adorable moments with the two of them. Maggie is amazing, too. She is hardworking, she loves her daughter and she is protective. Like her daughter, she was instantly infatuated with Chase.

Chase and Maggie’s story is full of passion, sweet moments, secrets and is completely addicting from the start. This story brought out so many different emotions while reading and I loved every single moment of it.

While this is the fourth book in a series, it can easily be read as a standalone. I haven’t read the other books and didn’t feel lost, though after meeting all the other couples I know that I will be going back and reading their stories because I fell in love with this makeshift family instantly.

London is a single mom to Leo, an adorable six year old boy, and she is also being forced into some interesting speed dating sessions. Oliver is Leo’s soccer coach and really the just seems to go to be true. The man is caring, handsome, patient and most of all he loves kids…there really should be something wrong with him and I don’t blame London for instantly crushing on him.

I loved the chemistry between London and Oliver from the start. I loved the bond that Oliver also formed with Leo. There are so many super sweet moments between Leo and Oliver throughout the story and I love that Oliver see’s potential and wants to help Leo be the best he can be, but also he becomes a great male influence in his life. Doesn’t help it also means he gets to spend some more time around London.

The Introvert’s Guide to Speed Dating is a fun, light, quick read that is full of steam, swoony scenes and of course, plenty of laughs.
