Timeout picks up right where things ended in book two, Tackled. Jack is being hauled away in handcuffs, Kate is trying to get him out as soon as possible, but with this latest event her career is in jeopardy and so is Jack’s.

The tension between Kate and Jack is so thick. The chemistry between them is undeniable. Jack’s stubbornness could destroy everything they have. Kate is trying to get him to open his eyes, but he is doing what he believes is the right thing to do. I can see where he is coming from and he doesn’t want to risk anything, especially when it comes to his son, JJ.

Kate and Jack’s relationship is destroying my emotions. I feel so much for Kate and I’m glad that she now has Ellie that she can lean on for support when it comes to him. I have a feeling with how things ended in this book, Kate is going to need all the support she can get.

If you’re looking for a single dad, workplace, sports romance check out this one, but only after reading Traded and Tackled first!

Well Played had me feeling every single emotion. I completely devoured this story in a single sitting.

Presley’s son, Alex, inherits half of the family inn from his late grandfather. The other owner? Alex’s uncle and professional NFL player, Levi. Presley and Levi have different opinions on what should be done with the inn, which leads to a bet. But the more time the spend together the more everything changes.

I adored Alex. He is a super sweet kid. He is smart and inherited the football gene from his father’s side of the family. I loved the bond that he formed with Levi over the course of the summer. They really were like two peas in a pod and there was plenty of sweet moments between them.

Presley and Levi. I loved the two of them together so much. I loved the banter in the beginning, the tension, the chemistry, all of it. They really messed with my emotions, both the good and the bad. Nothing about them is easy and it would never be an easy journey for them.

This story has laughs, it has the steam, it was emotions and overall, is just a super sweet story.

If you’re looking for a single mom, slow burn, small town romance that will take you on an emotional rollercoaster this is one to read.

Ford is always in trouble, he’s a playboy, but he is also a talented hockey player. He also finds himself a single father to the most adorable baby girl, Annabelle. Lena is the Jacobs family PR rep and she has worked hard her entire life to make a name for herself. Now Ford and Lena are in a fake engagement, but the more time they spend together the more the fake starts to feel real.

I didn’t expect to love Ford as much as I do. His love for his daughter is heartwarming. He may not have planned on being a single father, but he wouldn’t change a thing. She has him wrapped around her little finger and it’s adorable. I loved getting to see another side to him compared to the rebel just causing trouble. I loved Lena from the start. I loved her determination and her confidence. I also loved how she slowly opened more and more with Ford and that only deepened the connection and the chemistry between the two of them.

Ford and Lena are truly perfect for each other. They balance each other. They know when to push the other person and when to be there for the other. Plus, with sweet baby Annabelle they are the perfect family.

If you’re looking for a single dad, faking dating, hockey romance this is one to check out.

Saint is one wrong move away from being suspended from his hockey team. He needs to lay low and stay out of the tabloids for a bit. Then he meets Kinley. She is new to the area, lives in his building and pregnant.

Throughout the series, Saint has been the player, the bad boy, the one who you never expected to settle down. I loved in this book getting to see a different side to him. He has actually caring, protective and super sweet.

The chemistry between Saint and Kinley is off the charts from the moment they meet. Even when constantly friend zoned by Kinley, Saint didn’t give up. He continued to be there for her and was someone she could lean on. At least, someone beside her brother.

This story was low angst, low drama and well just a cute story.

If you’re looking for a single parent, reformed bad boy, hockey romance this is one to check out.

I absolutely love the Riggins brothers and Marshall and no different. He is the youngest of the bunch, so naturally the last one to find his magic. His heart was captured by not just one woman, but also her adorable baby girl.

Marshall is smart, hardworking, caring, protective and will make you swoon. Seriously, the man is to good to be true at times. Wren is a single mother, she is hard working and doing everything she can to make sure her baby girl has everything in life and knows that she is loved.

From the moment Marshall meets Wren there is just something about her that draws him in. Neither of them expect to see each other again, yet they keep running into each other. They spend more time together and slowly their feelings start to come to the surface.

I adored this story from start to finish. I completely fell in love with Wren, Marshall and Maddie. It was bittersweet to see this series come to an end but I loved getting more of this entire family.

If you’re looking for a single mom, friend to lovers romance this is one to check out!

Madison has escaped her previous life that is now filled with scandal and gone to her grandfather’s hunting cabin in Alaska. Graham is a hotshot firefighter and a single father to a 14 year old daughter, Allie.

The moment Madison and Graham meet there is an instant connection between them. They are strangers to each other, they come from different worlds. Yet, they can’t seem to stay away from each other. I loved the connection that Madison formed with Graham’s daughter, Allie, too.

This story is sweet, packed full of steaming hot chemistry, a great group of secondary characters and no drama. I absolutely adored this story from start to finish and can’t wait for more in the series!

If you’re looking for a small town, single father romance this is one to check out!

I absolutely adored the story. The small town, the characters, the mixture of sweet and steam is all perfect.

Wren is a single mom to her amazing child, River. She hasn’t had the best of luck when it comes to relationships and since being a single mom she doesn’t really have time to date. Bennett has known Wren since they were children. He is best friends with her older brother. Bennett has also had a crush on Wren since they were kids.

I love Wren. She is hardworking and strong. She loves River more than anything and it shows throughout the story. He is her world and she would do anything to make sure her son his happy. I also really loved Bennett. He’s only ever had eyes for Wren, but it can never be anything more. He is protective and caring and seriously swoony. I loved how Bennett is with River and the bond that the two of them formed throughout the course of the story.

The chemistry between Wren and Bennett is fantastic. There is so much tension between the two of them and I loved all the buildup. Seeing their relationship progress from friends to Bennett coaching Wren when it comes to dating to something more was so much fun to read.

If you’re looking for a single parent, small town, brother’s best friend romance this is one to read!

I LOVED Tag. From page one I completely fell in love with him and as the story continued, I just fell even more. He has some walls built up from his past, but he is also caring, sweet and protective. Elle is just visiting her sister, Lucy, when she meets Tag. She is getting a break from her father’s business temporarily. Her focus is her career and making her father happy.

The connection between Tag and Elle is instant. These two felt something more for each other from the start but knew that they shouldn’t really continue. With a connection like theirs that isn’t easy to do. Their bond is so much more than physical and they both bring out different sides to the other.

I adored Chloe. She is smart and her love of snakes is fantastic, especially since her Uncle Tag dislikes them so much. The bond that Chloe formed with Tag is amazing and of course, I loved the connection she built with Elle. They are exactly who Chloe needs in her life.

Untamed Devil is full of laughs, sweet moments and steamy scenes from the start!

If you’re looking for a single dadish, hockey romance this is one to check out.

Delilah is on the run towards a better life for her seven-year-old son, Beck. She finds a small town that she falls in love with and is a good place for her to settle down in. She instantly connects with her son’s teacher, December. She also connects with December’s son, Max. Max is a former professional baseball player, who now coaches little league.

Max. The man is swoony and protective. I absolutely adored the connection and the bond he formed with Beck. He instantly accepted Beck and Delilah. He offered them help when they needed it. He offered them support when they needed it. It is hard not to completely fall in love with him.

Max and Delilah’s love is practically instant. There is so much chemistry between them and with Max’s smooth talking he can instantly reassure Delilah that everything will work out. Their story was emotional at times and I’m happy Delilah and Beck finally have someone in their life to love them both the way they should be loved.

If you’re looking for a single mom, small town, emotional romance this is one to read.

What do a tossed salad, speeding dating and too many strong margaritas have in common? This story! I absolutely adored this story from start to finish.

Charlotte is in desperate need of a job. She is about to lose her apartment and has barely any money to her name when a nanny opportunity is offered to her. The man she would nannying for? Her enemy and the man she used to work for. Mitch is struggling with his new role as father, he is running his own business and keeping the walls he built around himself hidden.

I loved the chemistry between Charlotte and Mitch. There was a connection between them from the start and it only continued to grow as they got to know each other and spent more time with each other. I love how Charlotte is with Oscar and how she helps him feel comfortable when his entire world was changing.

It was great to see characters from previous series pop up, especially Gabe and Monica!

The Nanny and the Hothead will have you laughing, swooning and craving a grilled cheese from the start!
