Tainted is so much more than a romance. It is about finding your own self worth and acceptance. This story is beautiful and the love between and acceptance between Dean and Taylor is something that will stick with you long after reading.
Dean is a transgender male. At 18 his family kicked him out, they disowned him. They didn’t approve of who he is. My heart truly broke for him. He had one person in his entire life that truly accepted and loved him from the start. I love that he had Brax in his corner. Dean is a character that is easy to love. While he is a grump, he is likeable. He struggles with his own insecurities and keeps walls up to protect himself from ever being hurt.
Taylor is a football player. He is bi. He is full of life at this point in his life. He is caring and understanding. He can connect with Dean on some level and has somewhat of an idea of what he is going through. He is full of so much love and compassion. I love that he truly wants to understand and wants to learn. He wants to do everything he can to get Dean to open up to him.
I loved the relationship between Dean and Taylor. Taylor wasn’t pushy when it came to Dean. He was there for him, he was a shoulder to lean on and another person in his corner to love and support him for who he is. There was a connection between them from the start and I loved seeing their relationship grow and progress.
If you’re looking for a beautiful story about finding yourself and finding acceptance, that is also full of romance and some steam this is one to read.

Oh, Bentley! My heart broke so much for him. From the moment he was introduced I fell in love with this character and now to finally get his story, it was so much more than I expected. This story was raw, it was emotional and it was so perfect for Bent.
Bentley is fighting some major demons. Some his close knit group of friends know about and others that he has kept to himself for years. These are eating away at him and taking him on a downward spiral. When Sydney shows up, her presence doesn’t help him. I loved Sydney. She was sweet, caring and a great friend. She easily connected with Jazz and Ainsley and I loved the bond she formed with him, plus her friend Carmen (who I LOVE! This girl is HILARIOUS and a great friend).
There is so much chemistry between Bentley and Sydney in both the present and from the flashbacks that are provided throughout the story. The steam level is off the charts. They are instantly drawn to each other. No matter how much Bentley tries to fight everything and tries to hate Sydney for the night she represents in his past, he can’t stay away from her. He is a moth to a flame. Sydney is exactly the type of woman that Bentley needs in his life. She isn’t afraid to call him out, she isn’t afraid to push his buttons and try to show the real man versus the one he shows the public.
You can read this as a complete standalone, however, to get the full picture, it is best to read the previous three books in the series. This does also deal with sensitive topics, so proceed with caution.
If you’re looking for an emotional, angsty romance this is one to read.

Forcing You Away captures you from page one and keeps you on the edge of your seat with the suspense and the tension between Archer and Everleigh.
Archer is out of prison and is getting a second chance at life thanks to his friend, Tyler. His new roommate is Tyler’s sister, Everleigh. Everleigh is hardworking, but she is also a little bit of a spicy disaster. Really, they are two people you’d never expect them to be roommates, let alone become friends. Yet, there is something that just clicks with them.
The chemistry between Archer and Everleigh is so perfect. The tension and the build up between the two of them is addictive. They are complete opposites yet they are also so perfect for each other. They are walking a fine line though and slowly creepy over it. Archer made a promise and he doesn’t want to break that, he doesn’t want to risk his second chance at life.
Their pasts are coming back to haunt them, but can they survive the skeletons in both of their closets? I am DYING for book two. I can’t wait to see what will happen next with Archer and Everleigh!

I LOVED every single thing about this book. The moment it showed up on my kindle I started reading and couldn’t put it down. I got completely sucked into Josh and Charlie’s universe and I don’t think I am okay after finishing this. Asking for a friend, but can I have Josh for a birthday surprise, too!?
Josh. He is hilarious, sweet, kind and swoony. He quickly became one of my favorite CR men EVER. Plus, he is a man of many talents. He is a character that you can instantly fall in love with and is so charismatic. I love how he is with Charlie, too. He sure knows how to woo a woman. Charlie, I love the woman, too. There is so much to her and so much that is still unknown about her. She has secrets and a big one. She is sweet, caring and much more guarded when it comes to relationships than Josh is.
The chemistry between Josh and Charlie is instant and off the charts from the very first moment they meet. I loved seeing their connection grow and develop throughout the course of this book. I love the little things to do for each other, the secrets they shared and Charlie hands down does one of the sweetest things for Josh and I was dying. I couldn’t get enough of these two and I absolutely love them as individuals and as a couple.
I am not okay after finishing this book though. That ending had me on the edge of my seat and dying. There may have been some shouting and frantically tapping my kindle hoping that truly wasn’t where things would end. BUT I am anxiously awaiting book two and can’t wait to see what is coming up for Josh and Charlie.
If you are looking for an angsty, sweet, heartbreaking, emotional romance this is definitely one to read!

Riggs is the team loner. He hasn’t really connected with many of his new teammates since joining. His focus is taking care of his younger sister, Janelle, and making sure that she is adjusting to her new life with him. He is a great brother for doing what he did for her and really for always being there for her, despite the age difference between the two siblings. Veronica hasn’t had it great when it comes to relationships, but she is determined to be able to take care of herself and not rely on others anymore, especially a man.
When Riggs and Veronica first meet it is far from like at first sight. These two really did not like each other. They had formed opinions about each other, well mostly Riggs abut Veronica and didn’t bother to go further. However, things slowly shifted between the two of them and that fine line between hate and love slowly blurs and the chemistry that was buried comes to the surface.
I loved Janelle. She has experienced so much throughout her life and way more than any 17 year old should ever experience. Though there is tension at times, I loved the relationship between her and Riggs. She knew that he always had her best interest in mind. I also love the relationship that Janelle formed with Veronica. In a way, the two of them could really connect on a different level and she quickly became another person that Janelle could reply on in her life.
I love that Riggs story sets up future stories in the series and I can’t wait to see how everything plays out with those books.

Austen and Ryder met as teens. They weren’t close and went their separate ways. Now, four years later, the end up at the same school. Austen’s new roommate just so happens to be dating Ryder’s friend…so there is no avoiding each other.
There is so much hate between the two of them, but there is also so much chemistry between them. Austen and Ryder are drawn to each other. Ryder is pretty protective when it comes to Austen, but to the hate outside world he pretends to hate her.
I absolutely loved Ryder and Austen. They knew how to push each other’s buttons. I loved their shared connection. They have life experiences that they share and adds another level to their relationship. I loved the sweet moments between them. Ryder is protective and will really do anything for Austen.

I wasn’t sure what to expect going into this book, but I found myself struggling to get into the story. It just wasn’t the book for me, but I am sure it will be the book for someone else.
Layla is divorced, a music teacher. When she was married she changed her life for her then husband and really, he just cared about money and status, the opposite of what Layla cared about. Josh is a single father, just going through a divorce himself. His daughter is in Layla’s class which is how the two of them cross paths.
I enjoyed the friendship that Layla and Josh formed over the course of this story and the journey they experienced together and individually. This story felt real. It felt like anyone could be going through the same thing as Layla or Josh when it comes to their divorces and just learning how to navigate through life again and finding yourself.
The story itself wasn’t bad, I just had a hard time really getting into the story, but it may be the perfect story for someone else.

Cash owns a bar in Oasis. Jordan is new to town and happens to visit the bar. The moment that Cash and Jordan meet they have instant chemistry.
Jordan is fresh off breaking off an engagement and with the chemistry he has with Cash is the perfect excuse to explore his desires. Little does he know the man who captured his attention is the older brother of his ex, Camilla (who I can’t stand!). Yet, Cash doesn’t let his sister or her previous relationship with Jordan change anything. If anything, it really only helps them form a deeper connection and bond.
The chemistry between Jordan and Cash is heating up the pages from the start. As their emotional connection deepens so does their chemistry and desires for one another. I love that Cash is there for Jordan as he explores who he is and I love that Jordan is there for Cash when everyone else in his life has pretty much abandoned him.

Whiskey Moon has all the feels! Wyatt and Blaire’s story is emotional and beautiful from the start.
High school sweethearts, first loves, best friends. Wyatt and Blaire were perfect for each other. She had dreams and Wyatt wasn’t going to stop her from living the life she deserved. At 18 the made a marriage pact. Ten years no matter where they were in life they would marry. But a lot changes in ten years.
Wyatt and Blaire are opposites. He is introverted and she is extroverted yet together they are so perfect for each other. Even as teens there was so much love between them and they had such a deep connection. Even after ten years and no contact with each other, there was still an insane amount of chemistry and they were drawn to each other.
I wasn’t expecting this story to hit me so hard. It was emotional and beautiful. Their story and their journey is not always easy, but I loved seeing them find their way back to each other, learning about who they are now, but also learning that both of them are who they were ten years ago. My heart broke for Wyatt and everything that happened and for Blaire who was hurt in the process.
