Break out the leg warmers, the hairspray and get ready to head back to the 80’s with this fun, brother’s best friend novella.

Travis is a mall security guard, until he stumbles upon a job as a pop stars security guard. That popstar just so happens to be his best friends little sister, Elle. It’s been years since he had seen her and things have certainly changed.

I absolutely adored this story. I loved the instant connection between Travis and Elle. They had an easy going vibe when it came to their relationship and were able to laugh and just have fun, but there was also INSANE amounts of chemistry and definitely put a mall dressing room into good use. Though everything isn’t always rainbows and glitter, there is a little bit of drama that is quickly resolved.

If you’re looking for a fun, 80s themed, brother’s best friend, security guard/popstar romance this is one to check out!

I’ve been waiting for Addison’s story because I wanted her to have the happily ever after she deserved, but I also wanted to know more about her. Addison’s past is completely heartbreaking, but it made her into the woman she is today and she is a fighter and survivor.

Addison has her MBA, she works as an assistant to the CEO of a company and is amazing at her job. However, she is also co-owner in RISE and known as Madame Ember. She is smart, talented, caring, supportive, strong and so much more. Ethan is Addison’s boss, aka the CEO she works for, and he took some getting used to and even throughout the story I wanted to knock some sense into him. There is a connection between Addy and Ethan, though only Addy knows just how deep that connection goes. There is some INSANE chemistry between them and many, many, many steamy scenes. Though, their story just isn’t full of heat, there are so many emotions between them, there is lover and so many twists and turns.

I devoured their story. I couldn’t put it down. I wanted to know what was going to happen next. I wanted to know all of Addy’s secrets. It was addictive from the first page! I also loved getting to see more of the girls and the bond they all, even as more people have entered their tight knit circle. I can’t wait to see what comes next for Eden.

If you’re looking for a steamy romance that is full of sins and secrets and a great group of women this is one to read! I HIGHLY recommend starting with the prequel novella RISE and starting at book 1 of the series to get all the details.

Flawed Professor is a quick read, but this book just wasn’t for me. It was a struggle to get into the story and even like the characters.

Tobias is a womanizer, a major one. He has a reputation and even the students now it. Sophie has been hurt in the past when it comes to relationships, so she doesn’t trust easily. There is chemistry between Tobias and Sophie, however, she is also friends with his ex-wife who warns her about Tobias and his charm. I do like that Sophie doesn’t just listen to the ex, however, I also felt that even with trust issues she was way too trusting when it came to Tobias and any sort of relationship.

The story felt very rushed, especially at the end. There was a lot of build up and then a date at around 75% and then quickly into the ‘I love you’ and the end. It just felt like there should be more to the story than what was there.

Someone else may really enjoy this book, however, I just couldn’t get into it.

The moment Leo see’s Everly he is drawn to her. When he finds out that she is the maid of honor at the same wedding he is in Vegas for, even better. Everly is also drawn to Leo. The two of the instantly hit it off and sparks begin to fly off the pages. So, what do two people do who have had some drinks and have an insane attraction to each other while in Vegas? Head on down to the local little white chapel and get married.

I loved Leo and Everly. Despite the accidental marriage they have such an amazing connection and I loved that neither of them overly freaked out over what happened. I felt like their relationship was just meant to happen, even when they left Vegas. There was lots of focus on them as a couple which was amazing and very little drama. It was so easy to fall in love with these two characters.

If you’ve read any of Harlow’s books before you’ll see plenty of familiar faces from some of her previous series and if you haven’t read Harlow before it is a great little sneak peak to some of the other amazing stories she has written.

If you’re looking for a quickie little insta love, accidental marriage romance to read this Valentine’s Day definitely pick this one up!

Sheridan and August were born to be enemies. The Monreaux’s and the Rose’s were never supposed to be in the same place together. Their families don’t like one another. That is until one fateful night when a Rose and a Monreaux met.

Sheridan and August are complete opposites of each other. August comes from wealth and having everything he could ever want in life, while Sheridan has to work hard for things, her family is constantly trying to keep their heads above water. However, from the moment they meet there is a connection. They are both drawn to each other, even though they know they should. Everything about them spending time together is forbidden.

I loved August. He is the youngest Monreaux, he is broken and really detached from his family. He lost his mom at a young age in a tragic way and that changed his entire family. The growth he had throughout this story was beautiful to read and you go from disliking the emotionless party boy who is out for revenge to falling in love with him and rooting for him. Sheridan is hardworking, she is caring, she is loving. She does whatever she can to help her family, especially her mother who is ill.

Enemy Dearest gives some major Romeo and Juliet vibes, has heat, family secrets and is an emotional roller coaster. If you’re looking for a book that is full of all that and will take you on a journey with these two characters this is one to check out.

Baseball Bride is a fast paced, insta love, marriage of convenience story is that full of heat!!

Gillian is a physical therapist for professional baseball players, after she quits her previous job due to her boss being a sleaze bag, she quickly finds a new position and her first patient is the insanely handsome, Ryon. Ryon is recovering from a shoulder injury and is at risk of being sent back to Canada if he isn’t picked up by another team and with that fear he suggests to Gillian that they should get married.

Ryon and Gillian have some insane amounts of chemistry. Sparks are flying off the pages from the moment they meet and only continue to grow hotter as the story continues.

Baseball Bride is a nice little steamy insta love story that is worth the read!

An unexpected encounter with a stranger that will take you on emotional journey.

From the moment Cassidy and Lark met there was an instant connection. It wasn’t just a physical connection, they have both experienced something similar in their relationships and that gave them a deeper emotional connection. From the beginning their story took me on an emotional roller coaster ride and I couldn’t help but root for these two the entire time.

Kiss Me Now packs the usual heat that is in Penny Wylder’s books, but this story also is about love and learning to love yourself and not settling. It is a beautiful story and completely hooked me from the first page.

If you’re looking for an office romance that has heat and a deep emotional connection this one is a must read!

Bad Boy Hero is an enjoyable quick read. I instantly fell in love with Missy and Keanen.

Missy grew up in a blue-collar family, she has worked hard her entire life. She is given a partial scholarship to a school she didn’t think she would ever be able to attend, though she still manages classes and working to cover the rest of her school expenses. Keanen grew up getting everything he wanted, the opposite of Missy. He is the star of the school. Though, he does enjoy frequenting the dive bar that Missy works at. Missy is afraid Keanen will tell everyone about the job she wants to keep hidden, but he is protective of her.

I loved the protectiveness that Keanen has over Missy. They are both drawn to each other. There is loads of chemistry. Missy also brings out a different side to Keanen, too. He may seem like he has the perfect life, however, there is much more to him. There is some drama with Keanen’s sister, but nothing too major when it comes to her.

Bad Boy Hero is a quick, enjoyable read!

A news reporter. A MMA fighter. A one-night stand. Steam and Suspense. Hold Her Close has it all. This story sucked me in the moment I started reading I was hooked and as the story continued and the suspense grew, I was on the edge of my seat.

Sadie and Jon had chemistry the moment they met. It was off the charts. Of course, neither of them expected to ever see the other person, until Jon found Sadie. They both still thought about their night together. Jon is protective and an alpha male. Sadie is independent and can also hold her own. I loved the two of them together and the way they balance each other out.

Hold Her Close is a must read if you’re looking for a steamy, suspenseful, quick read!

My Dad’s Bossy Friend is a fast paced age gap romance that will suck you in from the very beginning.

Perri is working for her father and she wants his approval more than anything. Then she runs into her fathers business partner and friend, Kent, and thinks he is there to spy on her. There is an attraction between them from the start, you can feel the chemistry between them. I loved Perri and Kent. They had loads of chemistry and I love how supportive Kent is of Perri and that he wants to support her and her dreams. There was minimal drama and some sweet moments between Perri and Kent.

My Dad’s Bossy Friend is the perfect read if you’re looking for a fast paced, age gap, weekend read!
